  1. We tell newbies the same thing.
  2. In all honestly, the dim spot in the '59 GM lineup was Cadillac. Yeah, they were glitzy but they lacked the well-proportioned and balanced class of the '58s and the toned-down elegance and jetlike fins of the '60s, especially in roundtop coupe form.
  3. So...are we done now? MySpace is set up just for this kind of drama. You say hello, but I say "buh-bye."
  4. Sixty8, why am I not surprised I have to tell you this? Stop responding to your own threads, especially when its bumping a thread that's 400 minutes old.
  5. Again, its not some hatred for BOF cars (I could care less), but the simple fact that I think the Panther trio suck as cars because they are so old, outdated, and offer little besides a cheap price (aided by how old they are). And if they happen to be BOF, so be it. I'd say the same if they were unibody. There's something wrong when a Chevy Aveo can be had with more speakers than a base Grand Marquis.
  6. No. Absolutely not. I'd never drive a V8-powered car.
  7. Monochromatic, a form of monochrome, is defined as: Though a form of the word 'chrome' is contained within the word, the word itself does not refer to removing chrome trim from an automobile or exchanging chromed trim pieces for those that are body-colored. That instance is referred to as exchanging chromed trim pieces for those that are body-colored. This is not monochromatic. In fact, it contains many colors. This may be considered to have a monochromatic paint scheme because the exterior paint is only one color, not multi-toned. Thank you.
  8. I'm going to say it right now, most of those Japanese cars look awful, I don't care how many pillars they have. Thank the dumbass fender mirrors for that.
  9. Yup. Between that and a Buick Regal GS, the Buick is almost always a better bet because you know you have a 97% chance of getting a car not driven by a speed demon.
  10. With the GTP comes the s/c 3800 II and with that comes of whether the guy has taken care of it properly doing things like changing the supercharger oil...or even knowing what supercharger oil is. Pretty excessive mileage, too.
  11. 'Cause its a Chrysler
  12. 'Sporty' is an extrodinarily generous term in describing that car. I've actually driven an LX Sport and...yeah. You know Ford could put together a car far better than that, yet they don't. So you know GM could blow it away when it feels like it. Hell, the Maurauder was blown away by that 7 year-old Impala SS. Plus, the SS looked intimidating. That just looks like its going to the crime scene.
  13. Remember the $76,000 MSRP ESV Platinum Edition? Big pimpin', dawg.
  14. The Cobalt rims are fine, its that dumbass Piper Cherokee wing on the back that's annoying.
  15. Nevermind. I took the 3er to meant a 3er in general, not just the coupe. Whatever. One thing I will admit is that Mercedes far and away surpasses Cadillac in electronic glitches.
  16. Yup. None of that at all... You can always find three things in any decade be it the 50s, 60s, 80s, or today: the $h!boxes, the outstanding cars, and the ones everyone else drove. Also, please remove that Merkur XRTSI428TCSUITLIAL42XXIY. What a piece of junk that was.
  17. Cadillac already has a few of those. And that FX without the roofrack looks goofy as heck.
  18. To choose a Hemi Cuda or any production muscle car over something like the Olds F-88 shows a lack of thought capacity. Something like an F-88 or similar concept car is usually one-off, completely unique, never intended to be sold, and filled with glorious workmanship in innovation. No muscle car could ever be in the same league.
  19. Isn't this guy dead yet? Seriously, listen to Andy Warhol, Raplhy: 15 minutes. You've exceeded that handily.
  20. If you don't chuckle at this... ...then I'm sad for you.Seriously, $1.5 million for that? What a retard. All original? Who cares? Fool.
  21. I could easily say the same for the QX56 and LX470, but I see the Escalade as offering clearly the most in its field.
  22. Okay, let's no one overreact now. Zoom, Blackviper was last online at 6:43 PM EST on January 18th, about six hours before you started this thread. I found this out not with my SuperAdminAbilities, but by looking up his profile: Blackviper's Profile This is something you and anyone else can do and I suggest you do this from now on instead of starting threads like these just because someone hasn't posted in 362 minutes. In addition, you have myraid communication options at your disposal - PM and forum e-mail in addition to his personal e-mail, screennames, etc. As far as 'infatuation,' I don't know exactly what you and BV have going on and frankly, I don't care. Its your business, not mine, and I wish you good times and happiness in whatever. I did ask you two and everyone in general to keep the flirtation and sex down to tolerable levels in the Lounge and out of the general forums. This has happened and I thank you for it. So, again, just like the police, let's wait 72 hours to file a missing member report, m'kay?
  23. It feels like we're doing something like this on a weekly basis.
  24. I did that with Satty for fun. And, yes, I have better things to do like helping run the site. Check the Admin logs if you want...well...I kind of say that knowing you can't. Last thing I did was change S.Meyers name. If I were 14 years-old and wanted to just f@#k with you constantly, editing your sig would be the most benign thing I could do but as I said, not only am I not like that and have better things to do, I just don't care that much. You sure you're not just editing your sig incorrectly?
  25. Razor, seriously, what are you trying to prove here?
