  1. Oh my God, its Jackie Chan!
  2. Its a real shame the non-optioned interior looks so lousy because this is a great package, IMO. The exterior is aggressive without being ridiculous a la Nitro and the equipment level seems great.
  3. That massive vestigial vent window only looks worse on the Spyder...ungainly. I don't understand why they can't fit the glass into the door like virtually everyone else does.
  4. We do sadly. That's how that Warsaw Pact piece of junk Crosslander can get away without having airbags.
  5. Toyota ads are traditionally poor. The Camry and Tacoma spots follow in that sad tradition.
  6. If its rebuilt in the exact same location with the exact same 'safe'guards, then I've lost hope for this country's intelligence. Bobo is right; there needs to be a serious, well-thought-out apolitical discussion about whether rebuilding New Orleans is worth it.
  7. Yes, the column tilt adjustment thing is preposterous. That's like saying the teather to the fuel cap doesn't match the cap itself.
  8. For the lack of low-end torque with the Northstar, one word: no.
  9. It looks nothing like a mid-90s Camry. That originated from someone's rectum.
  10. The exterior is fine except for the front end. I suppose that's the point, but I find it hideous being flat. Its like they're trying extra hard to force that grille onto everything.
  11. See the wraparound effect on the rear window of that Aurora? For some reason, it distorts the living crap out of everything coming up from behind me at a certain angle. Cars appear normal, then go into the Funhouse, then look normal again. Its weird. Also, it is sort of narrow for the size of the car due to the headreasts and 3rd brakelamp housing, but I've had no problems. Talk about bad visibility, try a 300.
  12. *snort*It...*snort**giggle*... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Remember when Dodge trucks looked good? By the way, Dodge doesn't know their own history? Their first midsize SUV was the old Durango.

  14. I think what they learned from Pontiac in the mid 1980s shows in the quality and reliability of today's new Mercedes
  15. It really does look good from the outside, just don't get in. Want to know the best part? The door latch on the top of the door. God, that looks cheap.
  16. Exactly, the Airflite is a true American beauty. Too bad the 300 is such a flavor of the month.
  17. How about any other Imperial besides the one Chrysler joking called an Imperial?
  18. The absolute worst-condition Mitsubishi Mirage sedan from the 1980sI've ever seen. What a pile of crap.
  19. Sorry, but that looks like $h!, more accurately like a bad pair of slacks you'd find at a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. I'm all for variety in interiors, too, but man have a little less garishness and a lot more class about it.
  20. Pretty much any nationality and dialect. Also, good ones of Presidents Kennedy through Dubya, except for Ford...if I do Ford, I just talk slow and stupid. According to one guy, my Jimmy Carter was dead-on, so yeah. This isn't me bragging, merely stating what my friends have told me. My girlfriend says if the flying gig doesn't work out, I could always voice cartoons.
  21. So...is this really news? No crap listening to loud music piped directly into your ears is going to damage your hearing. How about you not be so f-in' obsessed with your iPod? Idiots...

    BLEH!

Is this thread going to become yet another pointless bickering festival? Or an Oprah roundtable? C'mon...
  23. This is a specious figure and not one borne of accuracy. What kind of jobs? Minimum wage cashiers at Wal-Mart? Is the quality of jobs being maintained? That's far more important than rote numbers.

    BLEH!

    Sopranos Season 3. 'Nuff said.
