For a $10,000 difference in price between similarly-equipped Lucernes and DTSs, I can deal with it.

If you complained about the STS being a bitch to repair, why would you even consider a late-model BMW? Seriously.
-
You guys act surprised. I see crap like this all the time down here. Usually its a DeVille, Town Car, or Grand Marquis. To think most of these ridiculous cars are base models, so you've got someone with the dressiest cloth-benched, 4-speakered, cassette-decked Grand Marquis in town. Impressive.

Its clear they haven't been too busy making cars, so its good to see they're doing something else.

Its called faux toughness.

For anyone with any questions, whatever they may be, regarding the site, please feel free to PM me or post questions here. To let everyone know, the 'transition' was complete the moment of Josh's post. Expect changes, but as always for the better as we have been planning upgrades and such all along. Thanks to those who offered their support and words of encouragement. Its a big pair of shoes to fill, but I accept.

Don't know if you're aware of AllData, but its a good site not only for TSBs but recall information as well as part diagrams, specs, etc. along with warranty/non warranty labor times. Its subscription-based, though, @ ~$15.00

How cute. As if my position made a difference.

This is my life. You know, its funny that I look more now that I own a car of my own than I did when I didn't and was looking for my first car. I saw a primo 1995 Buick Regal black/on black with leather and sunroof and 42k miles for sale for $2950 and I want to have it just to have it. Automobiles are like drugs and I need my fix.

That was not only unexpected but extrodinarily uncalled for. Can't delete it now, btw. Please continue here after reading.

To all our readers, Our Chief Editor, Josh Oliver, received unconfirmed information concerning the Saturn Outlook and posted an article that could've been alot better put together. The haste with which it was written has contributed to considerable debate and has raised the ire of many on this board. As of tonight I have received information from two reliable sources that the alleged Outlook reevaluation document was fabricated. That is to say, all information regarding it was false. For the controversy this has caused, I ask you to consider that our editors have to constantly walk a fine line with the exclusives we run and the stories we break. We always strive for quality and accuracy in our reporting while protecting the confidentiality of our sources. Yet, sometimes the best of intentions don’t produce the best results. For those of you that felt the Outlook article was below our standards, I apologize and with that renew my commitment to you that we continue to hold both our articles and our editors to a higher level. Let’s continue to work together to uphold our tradition of being GM’S Biggest Fans and Toughest Critics. Thank you, Brian Dreggors, Administrator

Such a thing is more selfishness than anything and I feel bad for the child.

Its needs a better engine than the Chevrolet, pure and simple, as well as suspension and handling enhancements. Trim details would be quickly forgotten with X5-esque performance in a sub-$30k crossover that can still carry a decent amount of cargo.

As moltar said, Some of the comments were nitpicky and a little absurd. A high number of TSBs is not indicative of quality or reliability, yet Healy protrays them as such. The turn signal comments are funny, too.

Not that dead. Over the past few days, two G6 coupes - one a Fusion Orange GTP and the other silver and with the front-end bashed in...on a flatbed. Also, two nice old M45s, one Azera (making a total of two) and Tahoe/Yukons at the local dealers.

Yup. Just go ahead and use the button. on the toolbar at the bottom of your post.

Such would be true with the 1999 Escalade, but such a claim now isn't really accurate.

Whoops...my mistake, Camaroman. I put the votes on a spreadsheet and calculated the wrong columns. Bizz IS the winner, but you and T-O-X-I-C tie for second place. It was still close. Sorry about the confusion.

Flybrian replied to Northstar's topic in Sketch Competitions
You get a reprieve, GMan. You're late, but in. :) For all others, thank you for your submissions. Voting will begin shortly. -

Brian 21 Any time spent with my girl.

I understand the business sense of it, so I was commenting more on the illogic of a compact SUV that 'handles well' as opposed to a car that would handle infinitely better. In my mind, those vehicle classes you mentioned above filled a then-untapped need. What do these things accomplish in the sense of 'need'? Again, little space, little utility, no offroadness, compromised sportiness and handling, and with AWD available in many cars, there goes that advantage. But I digress as I'm repeating myself.
