The Space Coast is very narrow and I don't really like it that much. I lived there for a few months during my flight training and it doesn't have that same feel the Tampa Bay area does. Just for you... ...I absolutely love this bridge. My father - being the old school pipefitter type - prefers the old steel truss one that existed before the 1980s. Here's another shot, this time from the Courtney Campbell Causeway, another one of our four main bridges. None of these are pretty by comparison, but regardless... What I love so much about this locale is you're no more than 20 minutes on a bad day away from some form of beach and water. It makes my commute into Tampa so much more pleasent because of it. It never gets too hot because my county is a peninsula itself and of course never, ever too cold. Plus, on a clear day, you can actually see the Space Shuttle launch from clear across the state. Nothing better.

I can't believe you just made that statement. Its not like Audi dates back to 1899 and encompasses the histories of NSU and Auto Union. Audi also doesn't make offroad performance and rally cars. Does the word 'Quattro' mean anything to you? It does to alot of people. Yet the facts are presented to you right before your eyes. It doesn't agree with your opinions, so its 'bull$h!.' Yeah. This is also true. For instance, at my former job, one of the flight instructors essentially horned in and 'stole' referrals of potential students from another one even going so far as to lying to a potential student about the other flight instructor being 'sick' when he was really running a few minutes late with a current student and had called in on the radio specifically asking us to 'tell so-and-so I'll be there but a little late.' The Avalon continues to uphold Toyota's tradition of building cars so stodgy even Buick and Mercury wouldn't build them. The '06 Avalon builds upon this heritage by adding gangly looks, highlighted by its awkward grille treatment and flimsy plastic dash covers. Toyota engineers highlight this year's Avalon as the being the first car with a standard conundrum; in Avalon's case, such a huge ass yet such a tiny trunk. Sciguy is pretty much right. The price is attractive, the car is not. Interestingly, you'll find much of the same switchgear, etc in the Azera as you will an Elantra or even a few Kias. In reality, a Sonata is a much better deal because as boring and bland as it is, the Azera isn't that much larger.

This is because recent letter iterations of Cadillacs have been successors to named models (Seville - STS; DeVille - DTS). They're called DeVille and Seville out of famiiliarity. Furthermore, as you pointed out, STS and DTS were trim designations on these full-named cars, solidifing that connection. You can't say the 'C' in CTS conjures up 'Catera' with any more authority than you can "B conjures up Brougham, and this car ain't no Brougham." It makes no sense. Replace those words with 'know', 'right', 'factual' and omit 'not' and you're 100% correct! Oh...wait for it...wait for it... ^^AW SNAPxELEVENTYBILLION!!^^ I bet Nekidra is totally pulling it out of his or her ass though. Sixty8, face it, you don't like the car because it FWD. In fact you hate all* FWD cars. Fine, whatever. But you keep beating and bashing and murdering this poor damn thing to death and your latest reason is 'because it makes me think of a random trim name on a car last produced 15 years ago'? C'mon... Its hard for C&G members to meet mainly because of the distances involved. We have large groups of members in the Northeast, Upper Midwest, and Southern California with smaller clusters in Texas, the Midatlantic states, Midwest, and South. I'm like the only active member in the entire state of Florida. Of course, I'd love for a get-together just for fun. I have to go on the 'meh' side of selectable automatics - fun for about a week, then it gets boring. I remember test driving a GP Comp G when it came out and I got tired of it about 5 minutes into the drive. You can do half the equation (downshift) with a regular automatic anyway.

This is odd because (if I'm not mistaken) the Cavalier had 5-lug wheels for the longest time. Why does the Cobalt get 4-luggers? Isn't this somehow inferior?

Its sad because of this... But that era is long since over. People need to realize GMDAT is one of the most beneficial foreign aquisitions in recent times, especially for GM. Dare I say, a better investment than SAAB.
