  1. What are they driving? Peugoets?
  2. GM owns both brands. Plus, the Cobalt is a nice car, certainly better than the Accent.
  3. She's wrong. They buy the cheapest domestics against well-equipped imports. See the not-so-old comaprison pitting a loaded Avalon XLS against a LeSabre Custom and Bonneville SE where they bitched about the floaty rides of the two GMs ignoring the optional touring/sport packages available with BOTH those cars. Oh, and also the fact that one could get a LeSabre Limited or Bonneville SLE for the price of that XLS. That wasn't mentioned once.
  4. For the record, those were chicks my age (twentysomething). For the record #2, I've seen the following cars landau'd: Late-80s Hyundai 1995ish Mazda Protege Past two generations of Accords Past three generations of Camry All generations of Avalon, current included Chrysler LH-cars, including Intepid and an Eagle Vision All generations of Mercury Sable/Ford Taurus Past four generations of Nissan Maxima Current Nissan Altima All generations of Chrysler cloud sedans except Plymouth Breeze Mazda 929 (that looked especially awful) Mazda 626 Mid-90s Mitsubishi Galant Lexus LS430/400, first and second generation GS, even an old SC Infiniti I30, J30, G20 Late-90s VW Passat Audi 5000 Mid-90s Toyota Corolla These don't include what's appropriate like a Dynasty and what's simply expected like some Grand Marquis. I think the other lower-47 states send their visonless, tasteless idiots here to die.
  5. #1 is alot harder than some of the others, IMO. Its the last Imperial worth a damn, the 1981-83 Imperial coupe. #2 is the HUMMER H2 #3 is a dirty 1991-1992 Buick Park Avenue. '93s carried Park Avenue script forward of the side reflectors and had restyled taillamps without the chrome trim inside. #4 Equus is a Hyundai which means this is probably a Hyundai which means I don't want to waste my time with Hyundais.
  6. Oh, you suck.
  7. The Forum's 'Reviews' module is geared for product-type reviews where we post something and you rate it. Ours is different. I'll see what can be done.
  8. Perhaps in whatever way you feel is appropriate, congratulate her and let her know you're keeping in your mind well-wishes for her and her baby.
  9. El Dodge Attitude
  10. Perhaps remarkable, but you have to ignore some rather interesting defects to say it offers a 'superior driving experience.' Its not all about 0-60 and handling, its about living with the car and 7.5 cuft trunk is hillarious. And 22mpg out of a six? Uh, Lexus, FYI, my 4000lb decade-old non-hybrid V8 sedan with no tuneup averages 20mpg. BMW is also advertising some of their 5er models get up to 30mpg highway, more than this hybrid. Let's no one make fun of the Silverado/Sierra hybrids anymore. At least you can plug things into them.
  11. The GS is to be missed because it injected some well-liked sport into the brand. The Northstar Lucerne surely makes up for the spiritual loss of the Ultra, but as of yet nothing for the LaCrosse, though I have high hopes for the Super
  12. Kudos to them for avoiding NASCAR and kudos to Pontiac for getting out of it as well.
  13. Wow. Small world. We're talking about the same things on the Mod board. $100/mo sounds pretty reasonable for reliable hosting. Josh, if you catch this out here first, check out the Mod forum please.
  14. On a Chrysler 300 with Indiana plates my father told me he saw today. Rear wheel skirts, vinyl top, and a "biiiiiig f@#king" hood ornament.

    ....

And if that's not bad enough, its got that cheesy Daytona graphics package.
  16. I guess the tires didn't learn about keeping air in them yet.

    Tornados

    Damn Oldsmobiles. Oh...wait...
  18. If you do it before, your lawn starts looking funny.
  19. Okay, seriously. You want the wallet? Take the wallet. Y-you can have. Just leave me alone. H-here, take the watch, too...its a Casio...
  20. Buick needs to return to 'Premium American Motorcars.' It makes the most sense. And I didn't think 'let's motor' was that popular.
  21. Negatory, especially Starbucks where its not only expensive but there's very little prep work compared to a deli, etc. and especially when you just grab something from the shelf. Its like tipping the gas station clerk even though you filled up your own car. Now, I would tip a local place where I frequent often whose staff didn't rotate on a weekly basis. I tend to put a big ----------------- through that space and write the original total on the bottom line. That crap doesn't work with me.
  22. Ends Friday, March 17th at 11:59PM. This one gets a Buick-related Prize. OoOoOoOoOoh!
  23. This thing has been my bigfoot or Nessie for quite awhile. Every time I'd see it, I didn't have my digi, or it was out of battery, or I forgot my memory stick . But today was the day. Parked illegally in a fire lane. Of course, I mean, a vinyl-roofed Lexus isn't driven by Enrico Fermi or anything.
  24. Here's my European dream car. 8.0 liters and almost four tons of brutish, anachronistic steel.
  25. A bunch of rental Sonatas, a beautiful skarkskin Lucerne, and a 1979 Cutlass 3-door fastback for sale - $1200 obo.
