  1. Brought enough windshield for everyone? Yes.
  2. Is this the same PRE-SAFE system that ran the cars into each other? And all-new? Talk about a liberal definition. Been there, done that. Like None Other.
  3. I see someone likes the Grand Prix's front overhangs.
  4. The debut wheels are simply horrible. I also suggest not offering wood with the saddle brown interior as that is simply too much brown for anyone's eyes.
  5. They definitely can, though. Look to the previous LR Discovery for the most obscene example of lousy rear door design.
  6. But, the real question is would you take any car that Volkswagen engine was available in?
  7. Japanese cars seem to have crappy seatbelt designs that treat the slightest movement as a high G-force impact, locking the retractor and forcing you to completely unbuckle and rebuckle the belt to get any freedom of movement back. I've never had the problem in a domestic; even if the retractor locks, I just lean back a bit and it frees up quickly.
  8. At least someone likes the original Malibu's wheel.
  9. Another ugly Nissan 3-spoke. And the tampon glass in the roof is irritating. Still, not bad overall, especially since they did some dental work on the front. Yee-gods that tooth looked bad.
  10. The Luxury Car for Those Who Don't Care About Cars.
  11. Toyoguy, you make me smile. Don't like the center stack controls. Otherwise, a tepid refresh for an already handsome car.
  12. For anyone going to or planning on attending the NYIAS, feel free to use this thread to coordinate your activities with one another. Show Dates: Press - April 12-13 Public - April 14-23

    Election Season

When it started out with bickering...yeah. That seals it.

    Election Season

    I vote for this...
  15. Exactly. The 'ancient' 4-speed Hydromatics shift smoother than Lexus 5/6-speeds.
  16. Did you actually look at the Sonata interior? Damn, at least the GM's are ergonomic.
  17. I think this is a result of photography. In any case, the old Camry didn't lean to the left...it was completely justified to the left and looked like pure garbage because of it.
  18. Me, too. I'd rip it out and sell it. You'll never see authentic titanium in a car of any meaningful production at this price anytime soon. I don't think people realize how much that stuff costs.
  19. The local Mitsubishi dealership is in a double-wide portable. They have to use Saturn's bathrooms. Even Suzuki has an actual facility.
  20. Nice. A version of the Maxima's bloated ass. Thanks, Nissan.
  21. 'Automobile-Themed Restaurant'
  22. You're very, very welcome. Going to add Variance and CSpec to that 'thank you' as well as Camino, whom I sought advice from.

A new voluntary power and torque certification procedure developed by the SAE Engine Test Code committee was approved March 31, 2005. This procedure (J2723) ensures fair, accurate ratings for horsepower and torque by allowing manufacturers to certify their engines through third-party witness testing. GM was the first auto manufacturer to begin using the procedure and expects to use it for all newly rated engines in the future.
