    I keep seeing this half-Asian guy driving around town in an Oldsmobile. Oh wait, its me! Seriously, one of my friends in high school was Vietnamese and his father emigrated here before the fall of Saigon in the 1970s. His family drives all domestic, including an Olds Eighty-Eight, Chrysler Concorde, and a Pontiac Montana. Its odd because the father absolutely loves the huge American boats.

    'Based on the model's history,' I think Benz has a long way to go to earn back real respect instead of weak fanboyism from people who only lust for the 3-point star regardless of the substance (or lack thereof) behind it.

    The problem with the 2000 Impy was not the outside looks (except for that stupid rubber stripping), but the interior, which was absolutely perfect for a utility/work sedan, but below average for most other purposes.

    Hyundai likes to make Joe Isuzu claims. The Sonata is a true midsizer and while the Azera has more interior volume than a 760i, so does a 1997 LeSabre.

    Saturn has one of the highest conquest rates of any GM brand. Saturn's customer base is also the second most-loyal of any GM division (Buick being 1st) and among the most loyal in the industry. Saturn consistantly outranks Ford, VW, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota in customer satisfaction. kthxbye.

    The Silverado/Sierra hybrids aren't 'full' or 'strong' hybrids; they're 'mild' hybrids that pretty much have oversized starters and extra batteries.
