  1. Allright. Allright. I think Reg forgot a smilie.
  2. ...much to the chagrin of the Q45.
  3. The '59 isn't bad for chrome. Restrained even. The '58 was mad crazy with its Fashion-Aire Dynastar Grille, made up of 160 individual four-side facet. The fifteen chrome slashes on each rear fender served absolutely no purpose nor meant a damn thing. It was just ridiculous and magnificent American gaudiness unmatched by anyone anywhere ever since.
  4. Hey, what about that RWD jerk? God. I hate him soooooo much.
  5. NOS, I hate you to the Series III extreme.
  6. They have all the requisites, from powertrain to feature content to safety to quality. I don't see how they wouldn't. Something like a Caprice or a Bonneville SE/LeSabre Custom/Lucerne CX would probably be simply a large car, but the more well-equipped models out-feature and outperform the "near-lux" autos of their time.
  7. I think there's a big warehouse out in Illinois somewhere filled with GM Store merchandise just sitting there collecting dust because no one buys an E85 T-shirt they were giving away months ago for sixteen dollars.
  8. Just that ass of an Asian guy from Toronto. Bought a G6 and thinks he's hot $h!.
  9. Lucerne non-luxury? Also implying the Bonneville and everything else on G was non-luxury?
  10. Even RWD couldn't save any 1980s Volvo from being an ugly pile.
  11. Oh. Okay. So, its not news, just a statement. Gotcha.
  12. This would generally apply to everwhere where slums exist.
  13. :lol:xeleventybillion!!
  14. And yet its been reflected in our GM Vehicle Safety Guide within our Resources section, along with other newly-listed IIHS and NHTSA ranking. To see photos and video clips (where available) of GM crash tests, click on the link above.

    Death of the V8?

    My object is hardly inanimate.
  16. The recent restyle doesn't help out the XTerra, IMO. The badge placement got weird and I liked the circular headlamps.
  17. I see nothing wrong with using a footbrake in the Buick version of this car.
  18. LeSabre, Park Ave, and Riviera were all standard-bearers in real-world safety, IMO. You can stick fifteen airbags in a Tercel and render it 'safe', but G-bodies have always been among - if not the - strongest, most resiliant platforms any car rides on today. Glad to see Lucerne carries this forward.
  19. Is this a statement or an actual news story/article...?
  20. So, Croc, exactly how many times on one page are you going to dump on the STS' interior?
  21. And followed it with (sp?)
  22. Getting back into a Corolla rental earlier today, with its tiny steering wheel, upright seating position, and $h!ty ergonomics reminded me how much I miss my good ol' American car.
