1. Only if you completely ignore the 2007 Camry's EuroCAP-friendly blunted nose. Note from a lower front profile angle, the Camry is very upright, almost appearing to project further ahead towards the crown of the grille. The Aura looks so much better in this regard.

3. Name a better-looking two-door/three-door hatch from overseas still in production that doesn't cost a third of a house...Solara? C-Class hatch? tC? Ugh. I'm feeling sick already.
4. The front end looked better before. By the way, this is probably the best-looking import coupe period.
5. <--- 21, suckers; 21.
6. In 2004, the Avalon was a lame(er) duck. Plus, that model was a plain stinker. In 2006, the Avalon sold alongside the old Camry with the old ES in the stable across the way. I'd wait for numbers over the next few months now that both the new Camry and ES have rolled out to determine if the Avalon can accurately be called a success. I predict it - like its predecessors - will have 20 months of glory followed by 3 years of being a second-rate also-ran that people walk right by, favoring instead a car that gives you the same for less (Camry XLE) or more for a very little more (ES350). I will add to the fact that these little monikers people bequeath on the Avalon, like 'Poor Man's Lexus' ignores the fact that the car itself is not that financially advantageous and also that Lexus has always had a poor man's Lexus called the Lexus ES. Upon seeing more of the new ES350 in person in colors other than Dell Silver and Puke Bronze, I will say its a pretty handsome vehicle on the outside, much more so than the somewhat disjointed Camry and galaxies ahead of the obese-woman-on-a-bike that is the Avalon.
7. Someone needs to take a picture!
8. You know how many people would bitch about GM being "out of touch" with the economy car market? How this is just another example of stupid, wasteful American thinking? How Acura got 200hp whiny, redline-banging horsepower out of the TSX's mill but GM has to put a V6 and manage only 10 more? People already bitch heavily at the W-cars having 5.3l V8s, arguably some of the best mass-market V8s in the market, and not all of the criticism is centered around the car. People (yourself among them) bitch about the 4.6l Northstar in the Lucerne while "everyone else can do pretty much the same with a six," even though the Northstar has perhaps still the best real world V8 torque delivery and is just nothing put pure silk when it comes to acceleration, etc compared to Toyota's 3.5l in the Avalon. I think a V6 Cobalt would be a great idea, but do you see now where the pessimism comes from? Truly damned if you do, damned if you don't in just about everything.
9. I see I'm going to have to use this again... Actually, I'm feeling pretty bad about insulting that woman by saying she looks like an Avalon. No one needs that.
10. Mi signature es tu signature, compadre.
11. Ahh, the L2K. Would've been about, say, a million times better than the Lincoln lineup today is.
12. See below for a solution to that quandry.
13. All I have to say is 'yummy.' Make sure you have some sort of warranty, such as a GMPP Value Guard or Major Guard. Not sure what's offered up north. My GMPP warranty paid for itself and then some, but my car was much older and a 'higher' mileage. As for the car itself, I would say simply one of the best cars of the early 21st century and one that represents the best overall value. Very safe and very reliable, even with the Northstar. Good luck!
14. I guess this is part of Pontiac's offbeat advertising. I laughed.
15. I can see the future, and it is...
16. Make sure it has huge, glossy press release photos from Wieck, words like 'colour' and 'realisation', inaccurate data, and two obscure TVRs for every American car like every other concept car book I've seen!
17. I will say she carries her curves very well... Unlike some others...
18. Looks GM-ish with Oldsmobile-ish taillamp housings
19. Auction Listing on eBay Awesome! Still runs, too!
20. Damn! I was hoping for Gilbert Gottfried. But I have gone to , a place filled with Mrs. Pells Fishsticks. Mmmm, yes, they're even better when you're dead.
21. My problem with the Grand Marquis is the total lack of feature content and its awkward trunk along with the inability to find one in inventory in Florida without some dumb aftermarketeer laying his tasteless hands on it. I would have a lot more fun with a low-mileage traffic control or administrative P71 Crown Vic because I'd have the cop parts, blacked-out trim, better engine, and I wouldn't feel as bad about beating it up. With a Grand Marquis, you have to drive 10mph under the speed limit. With a Crown Vic, you can make people drive 10mph under the speed limit. All-in-all for the money, I'd go for low-mileage Regal GS. While I love the Intrigue's style, the GS gives me more bang for the buck as well as being quiter and better-handling (oddly) than either the Olds or GP.
22. Seriously... 3686 - Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5 ('01) 3713 - Buick Riviera ('95) 3790 - Pontiac Bonneville GXP ('04) 3803 - Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0 ('01) 3884 - Buick Park Ave Ultra ('97) 3926 - DeVille Concours ('96) 3967 - Oldsmobile Aurora ('95) 3970 - Cadillac Seville ('98) 3978 - Cadillac DeVille ('00) 4211 - Buick Roadmaster ('96) None of the cars based on or derived from the G-body weigh as much, except for the Cadillacs and even then not by much. I have an aluminum hood, alloy wheels, frameless door glass, and an aluminum engine. What gives?
23. How about updating the Buick Merchandise Store to include less overpriced golf bull$h! and more good items?

No argument there - beyond that Chevrolet no way constitutes luxury - which is why I'm fine with a Monte Carlo, but not a Chevelle.

A Chevelle doesn't make sense in a modern Chevrolet lineup. I'd rather see a simple two-door Impala if not a better Monte Carlo.
