  1. Silverado Ext Cab vs. Tundra Access Cab +1" headroom +5" rear legroom +2.5" front/rear shoulder room +2" front hiproom +5" rear hiproom +3" bed depth +4" bed length +2" bed width +~75hp/70lbft +1/2 ton towing BTW, I love the phrasing...
  2. My comment was "I don't see how Hyundai dumping a healthy fraction of Sonatas and Azeras into rental lots is any better of a thing than what GM is doing." I don't see how you can interpret this as defending "GM's wholesale dump," which is slightly exaggerated itself. You started making this comparison to GM; I was merely commenting on how yet another Hyundai product is going to be fleeted from the get-go. How the mighty have fallen? What do you think Hertz and Avis rented out in 1954, Citroens? The Big Three have always sold to fleets and will always continue to do so at varying percentages. If anyone has fallen, its Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Mazda who now sell a far greater percentage of their volume to fleets than they ever have ten, twenty years ago. I don't include Hyundai/Kia because, well, how much can they even fall, nor Honda who has somehow managed to avoid the tempatation its fellow Japanese manufacturers succumbed to.
  3. One of my friends bought a Yaris. Yeah. What now?
  4. Love Zulehan's Electra. Thank you for keeping the sweapspear remnant.
  5. How come no one talks about whoring out the AMG nameplate on pudgy wagons like the RL?

  10. Poor styling differs from a lack of styling. You say 'bold,' I say 'melted Taurus with badly-placed taillamps and uncohesive lines.' I wasn't talking about GM. I wasn't even talking about all of Hyundai, merely those with bad vision and a lack of parts outside the Hyundai/Kia Bin that cobbled together this car. I don't see how Hyundai dumping a healthy fraction of Sonatas and Azeras into rental lots is any better of a thing than what GM is doing. I haven't seen fleet statistics for Hyundai, have you? If so, please share. BTW, where are the retail Optimas? Haven't seen one yet. Plenty with barcodes, though.
  11. If you take an Infiniti center stack and mash it with the other crappy Hyundai interiors, you get this. Rentalville. For the love of Christ, that is one of the most poorly-styled cars I have ever seen. Nice job making the rear wheels look dinky, Hyundai. Idiots.
  12. Because the European radio (like all European radios) is a big, ugly pile of buttons.
  13. Sort of like the Camry's Differential on Demand that shuts down unneeded gears, Tundra's Infant Crash Ejector, or Avalon's MADD-sponsored BeerSteer DUI Simulation Steering option?
  14. Yeah, both are pretty ugly and fat, but the Odyssey is pretty on the inside.
  15. The Ford Excursion was larger, more powerful, and could tow just as much as the Suburban. We all see where that is. Size isn't everything; quality is. As far as the double-cab being larger than the Mega Cab's...why? The Mega Cab is a response to the traditional shortfall of Ram Quad Cabs - roominess. Dodge decided to one-up the competition a bit and added extra length and girth in the process. I can't imagine Toyota wanting to simply make the Tundra bigger and even less managable, so does this mean a shorter bed that won't carry as much? Worse yet, a fullsize truck that needs a bed extender? This pretty much shows where the Tundra is going, though. Wave 'good-bye' to the Toyota pickup that may have been a little girlish, but had respectable looks and a decent ride to some overcompensating rig.
  16. The Frontier looks like it was smashed in the face.
  17. Yeah, but then they'd cost money instead of $0.00.
  18. Well, I have my H2H. I can't believe how cheap little LEDs have become. A decade ago, something that lights up as it moves would've had a friction drive that simply sparked.
  19. Hmmm...never would've thought.
  20. That the best thing ever. Seriously.
  21. For some reason, I think a Metro would be more structurally sound than an Explorer...
  22. Camaro is acceptable retro. Challenger or whatever is not.

  24. Hertz Mustang. Looks good.
  25. Why do I find the image of some mom being clocked on the head hillarious?
