  1. I realize the general growth, O.C., I just hope there will always be several decent, truly compact trucks available out there for someone who just needs a second or third vehicle solely for utility. Tell me a stripped-down single-cab with a/c, a CD player, and that's it wouldn't sell for $12k?
  2. Those cars look so boring for the price they're asking.
  3. Nice update. Thanks! I've seen a handful of xTremes, one being a black Colorado. Oh-so sexy.
  4. That car such a joke. Why anyone bought the current one baffles me.
  5. IIRC, 2000+ LeSabres carried a DIC readout in the lower half of one of the gauges.
  6. If such were the case, shouldn't the Insight be the hottest-selling hybrid in America? A realistic 60mpg and all one needs for commuting.
  7. Honda, stop trying to make your cars look like stupid things.
  8. Five'll get you ten the next generation of Toyota cars will share the Camry's general interior looks. Also, its been how many decades since Japanese have been making electronics and yet the clock readout color still doesn't match the gauges...sad.
  9. The Iron Giant must've appreciated a four-door Corvette enough to have sex with it and create this ugliness. Of all the dream cars of the era, 95% have some amount of beauty. There's a reason people forgot this Metallic Pee-colored joke. Now, let's pretty up this thread...
  10. That just shows their lack of credibility. Complaints & Drivel can have the bloated, archaic QX56 and deal with 9mpg averages, 20 year-old Pathfinder styling cues, laugable build quality, vomitastic styling, and a curb weight that makes Star Jones look anorexic. Also, the Q7 doesn't belong in this comparison any more than a LeSabre or a Kenmore dryer does, more proof Complaints & Drivel is clueless.

    Satty

But, my mom says I'm cool...
  12. A Fool and his Money. Like None Other.
  13. That is the single ugliest dream car ever created. I would actually have to let that rust.
  14. Chevrolet Beretta. I believe the Cutlass Supreme would also qualify.
  15. Remember, the Ranger, Colorado, Canyon, i-Series, and B-Series are the last real compact pickups for sale on the American market today. I wouldn't consider the Dak/Raider, Frontier, or Tacoma 'compact' by any means.
  16. It looks like a facelift, not a redesign.
  17. Mitsubishi being proud of this is like ordering your own 'winner' trophy.
  18. So, the materials in the Solstice are too cheap, but the materials here are 'distracting'...Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you.
  19. Nice job, Avalon.
  20. In the sense that one is a coupe in a "dead" market, one is derided for being overstyled and goofy, one is a 'lame Taurus', one is a 'fleet queen,' and all of ride on an 'ancient' platform with 'lousy' pushrod engines mated to 'embarrassing' 4-speed automatics while the other three represent this 'RWD is back/FWD is dead' era with OMG German underpinnings, yes I think GM can brag a little bit. I guess my main point here is that the LX cars would've sold just as well if the transmission were forward of the engine and it were front-wheel drive, meaning the style and performance sell over every other factor in this half of the midsize car market. Its easily argued all of the above GM and DCX cars have more style and way better performance than the 500 and Montego and the sales figures show that. Alternatively, the Fusion is doing pretty well compared to the well-established Malibu because it has style and (coming soon) performance. Also, can you imagine how well the W-bodies would sell if they looked a little better, were packaged a bit wiser, and had 5-spd automatics mated even to the same engines?

    Satty

I'm surprised no one noticed Satty's baby.
  23. Oh snaps.
  24. Your typical V8 will always breathe easier than a V6.
  25. From January to June... Cadillac STS - 12,004 sold Acura RL - 6,684 sold. In fact, the RL is the slowest-selling luxury car aside from the S80 and S-Type, both of which are nearly a decade old. Maybe Acura needs to work on Super Handling Marketing Abilities. Then again, the Accord is selling well because its a decent car. The TL is selling well because its a distinctive car. Hmm...
