Ed Welburn should definitely take a look at these before finalizing the real BRX. Congratulations to all and thank you to all who entered. These designs sure make super BRXs, but now its time to sketch up some supercars! Check out the GM Supercar competition going on right now. You have over a week left, so get those pencils to paper and let's make some great designs! The 1st-place winner receives a Cadillac-related prize as well as having their concept featured on the Cheers and Gears homepage and Design Showcase! Check out the Showcase for all out past winners. Congrats and thanks again!
  2. Anyone need extra time? Extensions are readily available!
  3. Interesting that not one single Toyota-branded product made the list.
  4. That is really very horrible. It would look so much cleaner with a smoother design. Expect a MCE quickly.
  5. Exactly. Lexus needs the 'passion' part of the 'pursuit.' The LS is and always has been the Stoffers Bistro Classic, the paint-by-numbers kit, the Casio keyboard. Sure, it tastes good, looks good, and sounds nice, but its not Italian cuisine, a masterpiece, or a symphony. For all their flaws, Jaguar, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes create cars of this caliber. Cadillac and Lincoln have in the past and can today if they wanted/could afford to. I don't know if Lexus ever can.
  6. In elementary school, I had posters of Tornados and Regals up on my wall. In middle school, I carried Buick, Olds, and Cadillac brochures to lunch. In high school, people knew me as a car guy and right behind that, a Buick guy. And today at twenty-one I...well, I drive an Oldsmobile, but would never turn my nose up at a Buick.
  7. Congratulations! Looks great! You should long-term review this for us
  8. I've been in the last LS without navigation and, sorry, it wasn't that special.
  9. I edited it manually for now.
  10. OMG NO CHANGED 4 SIX OR SEVEN YEARS OMG LETS CALL SOME SORT OF LAW INFORCEMENT AGENCIE!!!!
  11. Citroen is the only one of the French to make cars worth a damn.
  12. Yeah, the Reedom Riders. Love those guys.
  13. 1977 Chevrolet Vega Wagon Never titled with 13 miles!
  14. For what vans are really used for, these are genuinely good vans. These and the GM twins are pretty much top-of-the-line. Econolines are there for the hell of it.
  15. I would argue Chrysler shouldn't be selling some of the product they're selling - Voyager (defunct), 2.7l 300, 4cyl Sebring, stripper 'verts, PT Cruiser, i.e. non-premium vehicles. But that's just how it is.
  16. Yeah, but they'll probably look better.
  17. Last day for voting, everyone. Give your favorites some props!
  18. Last day for voting, guys. Recognize your favorites!!
  19. Kyoto would allow many nations to simply buy pollution credits while polluting at the same level. All it would do is cost industrialized nation like America and Canada $$$ and not stop pollution at all.
  20. The...Solara...is...such...an...attractive...car...
  21. Want to know what's even sicker? These cocksuckers wanting to picket outside the funeral... Westboro "Baptist" Church
  22. I liked Ice Palace better, too. What was the saddest to me was when Candlestick Park became 3Com Park. Is 3Com even around anymore?
  23. Sweet! You can win a beer cooler!
  24. Someone needs to put out a memo that acknowledges hybrid cars are not required to be painted in disgusting mucus-lining colors.
