I think Florida has the most specialty plate choices of any state, somewhere around 85. Here are few of the stupider ones... The reason why the DISCOVER FLORIDA'S OCEANS one is stupid is because we have one ocean, unless we moved the state recently. I admit I have one, but mine's cool...

I'd readily place Audi ahead of Acura in terms of true luxury. They're only second-tier in sales and prestige because of MB and BMW's pure dominance. On their own, they can hold their own. Also, Acura thrives in low-end entry luxury. Naturally, all luxury brands sell the most volume of their entry model, but Mercedes, BMW, and Cadillac post extrodinarily balanced numbers across the line. The RL never sold exceedingly well and I'd bet the bulk of Acura transactions are sub-$40k TSXs and TLs

Choppin' Competition #30 - Next Pontiac Vibe

Better instructions posted -
Welcome to Choppin' Competition #30! The lil' Vibe, star of GM's fuel efficient fleet and product of a long-standing partnership with Toyota, is about to lay its burden down, at least in current form. Whether or not the Vibe continues into another generation is questionable right now, but you can change that. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to design the next-generation Pontiac Vibe. Remember that the current Vibe succeeded by being a compact/small hatchback, so use that versatility as a guide for your conceptualization. You may use any vehicle image as your base. Some sources... Some Picture Sources... -Autodeadline* -FamilyCar.com Size guidelines remain at 800x600, so please size your entry accordingly. Please do not submit your images as Bitmap (.bmp) files. Also, please use only images from those aforementioned sources for your starting image. Any other image will be disqualified. The winner will recieve a Pontiac-related prize from C&G! Deadline is Friday, October 27th @ 11:59PM your local time. Good luck and have fun! *Instructions for accessing high-resolution images through AutoDeadline: Replace the bold, orange section of the URL... (http://gm.wieck.com/forms/gm/*query?silverado&Source=all) ...with the make/model/etc you're searching for. Replacing 'silverado' with 'lesabre' will bring up downloadable hi-res images of the Buick LeSabre.

FOR RELEASE: 2006-10-13 GM Expands Onstar Services To All Mobility-Adapted Vehicles Customers who purchase new vehicles equipped with mobility technology to get additional 2-years of OnStar DETROIT – General Motors today announced that customers who purchase any new 2006 or 2007MY GM vehicle equipped with OnStar and eligible adaptive mobility equipment will receive two additional years of standard OnStar service at no charge (in addition to the first year of included service). The GM Mobility Program was launched in 1991 to assist people with disabilities with their transportation needs. Under the terms of the program, GM reimburses customers up to $1,000 when they buy or lease a new GM vehicle and adapt it with one or more of the 35 eligible aftermarket mobility equipment modifications such as hand controls, scooter hoists or wheelchair lifts. GM brands in the program include Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC HUMMER, Pontiac and Saturn. Under the new offer, a customer purchasing any GM vehicle equipped with the Sit-N-Lift power seat, new OnStar TTY equipment or aftermarket adaptive equipment through the GM Mobility Reimbursement Program will receive two extra years of OnStar service. Since the first year of OnStar service is included on all new OnStar-equipped GM vehicles, GM Mobility customers can now get three years of OnStar service with their purchase. Until now, the three-year OnStar offer was only available on GM’s sport vans (Chevrolet Uplander, Buick Terraza and Saturn Relay). “GM recognizes that family caregivers, seniors, and people who have limited mobility are particularly concerned with personal security and safety,’’ said John Gaydash, director of marketing for GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. “Our mission is to enable people with disabilities to get where they want to go, and now OnStar provides them the confidence to get there.” With OnStar, subscribers have direct access to safety and security features such as 24-hour emergency assistance, remote door unlock, stolen vehicle location assistance and Hands-Free Calling, which allows drivers to make and receive hands-free voice activated calls through a nationwide cellular network. For more information on the GM Mobility Reimbursement Program visit www.gmmobility.com. ----------------------------------- I, for one, think its fantastic GM does so much for this field of customers.

Choppin' Competition #28 (Saturn AURA) Results!

Your Chery sig is now in my MySpace. Congrats. -
I like my state of Florida's because you can do this...

A retractable hardtop for the Miata is likewise retarded. It complicates things beyond what a pure roadster should be, especially because the Miata's ragtop is stupid simple to operate. I'd rather get a G6 or Sebring because that extra weight sacrifice would be matched by more power and room for four. Bring on the fastback Solstice.
-
Nothing will ever se as bad as this...
-
I think so. Something similar to what Honda did with the front fascia of the CR-V in that, yeah, its there, but it doesn't actually make any sense nor does it add anything to the vehicle besides something for people to talk about.
-
Yes. As long as you're modifying original work, not a press photo, etc like you would in the Choppin' Competitions.
-
Sorry, but I had to try and make you laugh
-
I'm sick of these things already...regardless of who makes them.
-
So, be prepared for tanked winos stumbling around saying, "Dude, blow my key."
-
Seriously, this car isn't so dissimilar from the concept as everyone claims. Remember that this wasn't the Aura, which was a show car versus a real concept. The Aura was built on an existing structure; the G6 was not.
-
And that means something? What some guy who spends an hour and 45 road miles in a car says?
-
Can they send the disgusting green ones back?
-
Its one of the worst-proportioned cars on the road.

JUST RETURNED FROM GM CANADA DEALER ONLY CAR SHOW

Any word on Malibu powertrains? -
Hands-free cell via OnStar. Oh, and the + signs are TAPShift controls. On the reverse side are - signs from downshifting. Push to upshift, pull towards to downshift.
