  1. A lack of front plates doesn't stop the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office here in Florida...
  2. The taillamps will be more Impala headlamp than Altima taillamp. Believe me, it looks nice.
  3. I'll give Dan Pretzel one thing: given Toyota's recent history, he's dead-on about their ads...
  4. How's this for a tease? Photo Gallery @ Autoblog
  5. Infiniti should do a hybrid version of the Q45. You know, a blend of the Q45 and a car that sells well.
  6. That was very, very heartbreaking what happened then. I hope he's okay, too. For those that don't remember, Budman was very enthusiastic about SAABs as well.
  7. I agree there needs to be an uplevel engine, as content and options shouldn't be the only differentiator between the CE and XR.
  8. Ditto. It really depends on the car and how it looks in either case as well as if the hatch/wagon bodystyle actually adds that much utility to the vehicle.
  9. GM Superbowl Ads Well, for those of us not emotionally or fiscally invested in the big game, some of the more anticipated moments come during the commercial breaks. Advertisers spend beaucoup money on these ads, so you know they're going to bring their 'A' game...or at least should. General Motors is no exception. Some of these you may have seen before, some you haven't. In either case, sit back, click, watch, and enjoy the show. 10. Smallchevy, you are the craziest f*cktard I have ever seen because this is actually an awesome idea. I'm not sure about all the rules and regulations, but this sounds very ambitious. What does it take for a grassroots team to enter Dakar?
  11. From what I know, 12:01am on February 7th (Wed).
  12. Pretty chilly here, too...

  14. I just moved it to the 2008 Chicago Auto Show forum so people looking for the latest from Chicago would find it there. I forgot to leave a link here too. Sorry about that!
  15. You don't see any 'What Won't Reg hit?' threads elsewhere, do you? That's what we call exclusive content. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. GM@Chicago 2008 HUMMER H2 Victory Red Edition HUMMER H2 VICTORY RED LIMITED EDITION ARRIVES AT DEALERS IN FEBRUARY DETROIT – HUMMER is expanding its product lineup with a new "Victory Red" limited-edition H2. This special edition is available in SUV and SUT versions, and maintains HUMMER's trademark bold design and unmatched off-road capability. The exclusive models arrive at dealerships in February with SUV pricing at $66,030 MSRP and SUT pricing at $65,575 MSRP. "The Victory Red edition offers HUMMER enthusiasts a distinctive new choice and unique features," said Martin Walsh, HUMMER general manager. "The package brings exclusivity to the SUV and SUT marketplace, and rounds out the 2007 H2 lineup." The 2007 limited edition includes all the standard features of the H2, along with a unique Victory Red exterior, rear-vision camera system and uplevel premium appearance package. The package features body-color fender moldings and rocker moldings with an integrated assist step, and a lower-profile, roof-mounted light bar with integral lamps. Chrome hood handles, hood latches, hood louver, exterior side vents, rear D-rings and fuel filler door, and 17-inch flangeless chrome wheels complete the exterior. Inside, the limited edition has new carbon fiber appearance accents. The rear-vision system features a 3.5-inch full-color display housed in the rearview mirror, which receives its picture from a universal rear-mounted camera. When the vehicle is shifted into Reverse, the video display automatically deploys from the side of the mirror, providing the driver an image of the area behind the vehicle both day and night. The display is in the driver’s natural line of sight, and the slide-out display won’t compromise a driver’s traditional field of view or create distracting glare. The screen then retracts back into the mirror when the vehicle is shifted out of Reverse. In addition, the special edition has a heated windshield wiper system with warm fluid that removes snow, ice and debris, and a rear-seat DVD system with dual headrest-mounted viewing screens and wireless headphones. The limited edition also carries GM’s five year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty and HUMMER's premium four year/50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
  17. Now updated with our Competitive Comparison. See how the Astra stacks up the outgoing ION and its key rivals on paper.
  18. The H4 is a strong possibility, though not definite. Remember that the H4 was also supposed to bow at NAIAS. Ditto with the G8. Stay tuned, though!
  19. These have got to be the four most unappealing vehicles out there.

  21. To clairify things, FOG, you are not banned nor restricted in any way. I don't know why you weren't able to post in the Lounge under your own screenname this morning, but its been fixed now. Rest assured, no one is overjoyed about your resignation and the tact and grace in which you're resigning says alot. You still have a great deal of respect among lots of members here and none of that will be lost just because you're a member now. As you said yourself, you haven't felt like part of the team for awhile now and I regret that you feel that way. And if you don't feel comfortable supporting the administration, then that is your choice and I think this is a natural conclusion given you feel that way. Things happen and people split sometimes, but its no reason to be a stranger. Still hope to see you around these parts.

  23. Now, this particular car has lots of 'minor' problems like only the left rear brakes working when you panic stop (??), but that's not the point... ClickySo there you go. Give up some love for the shovelnose Skylark.
  24. With the current styling and ubiquitousness of BMWs, I wouldn't be surprised to see fresh Bimmer trade-ins on Pontiac lots.
