    Good thing is that even after 5252 rpm, the power does not drop more than 5 hp to the redline. The torque curve is flatter than LS3.

    Also, doesn't your 95 have row-it-yourself transmission? How does that make difference? Z71 can really stiffen things up. Was there a mid cycle refresh between 95 and 98?

    Congrats Sir! Don't look at the outside color. It is the inside that matters. I thought red Corvette is not my thing, but more people notice and love the car. If doing it again, it will be LeMans Blue or Night Race Blue for me.

    So true. Despite burning 2000 calories in heavy workout and eating approx. 2500 calories, I was still gaining weight and girth. People thought it was muscles, I was like no f-ing way. I even went to a dietician who said the same thing! My brother asked me to quit wheat altogether. I have lost 5 lb in 2 weeks. But god damn, I am going through wheat withdrawal like a heroine addict does. My head hurts, and my stomach is churning faster than a Cat 5 Hurricane sitting in Gulf of Mehico; my hands go towards the bread and saliva just drips through the teeth. I am just on tipping point of starting to have hallucination. But on plus side, energy level is tremendous. My sleep has reduced from 8+ hours to 6.5 hours while feeling more energy for recovery.

    The basic premise here is that it may be a GMC because US version Chevy will be similar to Australasia version. But what if it is indeed US Chevy version?

    Yeah, maybe. It really isn't what I need, so I'm just holding off a bit longer hoping to find a good 2500. None of the options (1500 or 2500) are particularly enticing. You shall feel the right moment. Sometime the good thing is to let things go before good things happen to you.

    The 197 hp version of the engine should replace the 2.5 in the ATS.

    I think bringing the car here was a bold move from GM. Sure it is underpowered and sure it is hideously disproportionate. But for what it is an utilitarian, city commute appliance with a little fun added to it, the car is better than Scion, Fiat, and Smart. If the car gets the 1.4T for a sport model, it will be a fine pocket rocket. Conversely I would like to see such bold moves from GM in other areas as well.

    Yes that GMC concept was one of the most intelligently designed truck. I wish all those improvements make into the new trucks.
