To me it's more of a boulevard cruiser than a tossing in the corner car. Nevertheless, I think it is more beautiful than a C2 or a C3. I like the C1.5 iteration better than the C1.

Or equally as crazy as a $96K VW Tuareg TDI sorry, Porsche Cayenne Diesel.

Correction Balthy, even the A8 uses the 2.0L Turbo engine from VW. For GM it is badge engineering, but for VW group is called innovation in usage of synergy of brands for the purpose of proliferation of efficient low cost manufacturing to improve shareholders' values. If I were a GM shareholder right now, I'd be furious at this boondoggle. See below. Logic! Do I agree with the pricing? No. Do I understand the pricing? Yes.

Why is it ok for Audi to build their sports car, the TT, off a VW platform? And it is a FWD platform car with a transverse layout seeking Corvette pricing with power of a midsize sedan. So good! And the ELR is FWD w/ a transverse 4cyl...pretty lowly for that price point... Is anyone here denying that claim? Before you put the tin-foil hat on, read the argument. If GM gets lashed for that ELR, so should VW, which is as much as a badge engineering call-girl as GM is.

That Stingray is gorgeous. I wished I had a garage for that thing. Is he planning to sell? Are you back from the future? I did not know we are into 2014.

With $5,000 off the Volt, GM needs to make profit somewhere for the platform. Even if GM sells one ELR for every 10 volts, it is some money in the pocket.

Phucking Phablets. Why not put the phone software in Surface Pro use it as a phone? Better yet, use the Dell Precision 6700 - the Russian military tank.

Biggest one day stock drop due to auto Fire in Seattle Suburb
Z-06 replied to G. David Felt's topic in Tesla
Cruze Eco has a 12.6 gallon tank - reduced from conventional Cruze tank of 15.6 gallons to save weight. Thus giving a theoretical range of 529.2 miles based on EPA highway estimates for stick. -

Sales: Sales Figure Ticker - September 2013
Z-06 replied to William Maley's topic in 2013 Sales Archive
In the case of Chevrolet, I don't think so as the Cruze (down 50.6 percent) and Impala (down 24.9 percent) had a bad month. No I think Impala is possibly down because the firesale of the W bodies is complete. Mostly the EPII Impalas are now to be seen at the dealership and the customers may be realizing the sticker shock.- 6 replies

Yes, mostly in US, a customer waiting to buy what he wants is outnumbered by a customer who kicks the tires and purchases the vehicle the same day. There are many things that contribute to it. But it certainly changes the dynamics for equipments such as manual transmissions, or engine choices, or handling packages, or special order featues for the lot ready vehicles. In someway it is a gamble for both the companies and dealers to suffice such environment. There are times when dealers ask you to make a deposit to ensure a car is brought on the lot for a "test drive".

GMT800 had the LS5.3 making 285 hp with a little over 300 lb-ft of torque. This 4.3 will match those ratings with a better fuel economy. If I was in a market for a truck with no need for towing capabilities with occasional heavy lifting needs, I would go with the single cab V6 with Z71 package.

Z-06 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Cadillac
If people are bitching only about placement or existence of a shifter in Cadillac interior, then the company has come a long way in interior development.
