  1. Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie, and Chevrolet See the USA in your Chevrolet The cars more Americans can depend on May the Best Car Win The most dependable, longest lasting trucks on the road Like a Rock The Heartbeat of America Building a better way to see the USA An American Revolution Maybe another 30
  2. Nice looking Cruze ..
  3. We started going to Laughlin because of the deals on rooms we started getting via e-mail. Always less then $20 bucks a night so we thought why not. Just got an offer from the ColoradoBell for $7.77 a night non friday and saturdays. So as long as I like to drive we go ...............
  4. I'd take a 75 TownCoupe.
  5. Where in Arizona ........... In the Valley of the hot hot sun. Should be 110* and under by the time you get here.
  6. People see the stangest things, Covair is not one of them in my eyes. BMW beltline a little kinda maybe.
  7. It's a four hour drive to Laughlin, it's a nice drive.
  8. Come to Arizona and campout in my back yard ...........
  9. Irene, that tramps not coming near my place.
  10. We think you think could be right. SAAB is hardly part of GM Heritage
  11. While they look better then the droptop. I'll take the droptop. Driving is more fun then sitting at a sunday car show being cool.
  12. Great drive.

It did come with an engine ... we all know the choice we have.
  17. Nothing like the backroads.
  18. generally most folks who do not seem to be enthusiasts like the power but yes many folks who are more focused on performance think it needs more hp. I think exactly as you say about 40hp would be good. regal no doubt is a better car but you may be paying a fair amount more for it. in my opinion its apples and oranges because the regal is built to the next level of heft and really is not a vanilla mid size competitor. As of sept 9th not in Arizona. and there are maybe only 100 mini dealers in the us....... I think it has more to do with where a person likes to drive. When I hit the road thats just what I do. Hit the road not the freeways. Twolane blacktop is more fun to drive. Not straight & sterile with the same fastfood stop every few miles. When running the back roads you need the hp and torque to pass the lumbering DL240 wagons & Cruze sedans of the world.

35% all around and a new engine .......
  20. Damn I didn't feel a thing.
  21. As of sept 9th not in Arizona.
  22. That was about as useless as can be.
  23. The KIZZYs power to weight is nothing to speak of. It NEEDS 40 more hp. The Buick Regal get a better score from me. The Hyundai Sonata rates a lower score from me Yet the Kizzy is the nicest car in class overall, with the Optima second and the Regal holding third. Oh and thanks to those that control for not letting me delete my double post.
  24. Took the TinIndian to Laughlin, same route we always go. Ran the 2.4L Solstice a bit harder then the ION-2.4L or the Kizzy 2.4L and did 26.4 mpg round trip. Thats hitting 100 plus on some of the two lane blacktop passing other cars. Fun to drive good for a weekend away. Thoughtfull packing by my wife let us put the top down when we got in the highcountry. It'll go to laughlin next time we go. Young fellow driving a pretty red Astra 3dr XR with fartcan tryed to keep up, but once we passed them out of Wittman AZ it didn't take long before they were a thing of the past.
  25. well.... 2.5. The 2.4 is going to start fading out in the next few model years to be replaced with the 2.5. 2.5L-4 (not the iron "duck") with 190hp evan better. GM can sell me a Cruze wagon & sedan
