  1. Could've been the Ford Wayne plant, too.
  2. So many things need to change in the American auto industry it isn't even remotely funny.
  3. Flint builds the heavy duty trucks, not Pontiac.
  4. I took some German in high school, though I don't remember hardly any of it anymore.
  5. Who cares? Let 'em leave, it'll at least loosen up the market giving the Big Three some room to breathe. Besides, Volkswagon hasn't built anything in the United States for twenty years. Even Subaru had the common decency to build a factory and keep it open in this country.
  6. Ugh... God I hate cars from the 80s...and I've got a special grudge against 6000s because I remember how big a piece of $h! my dad's was.
  7. I like Jeeps, and I think this would do really well.
  8. I do like the brown on the Enclave...but I can only really see that color working out well for Buick. Brown Caddys I don't think would be nearly as classy.
  9. I can't think of a feature I would possibly use less. I could do without, what could easily turn into, another computer-related dependancy in my cars.
  10. I gotta start hanging out in Auburn Hills more often. Its only like a 35 minute drive for me, too.
  11. Buick's turning back into a more deluxe brand..."Joe Sixpack" is definitely not their target.
  12. Eh...PS2s always were fragile and riddled with problems, we had problems aplenty with ours. I think I'm about done with Sony anyway. All the Sony products we've owned always wind up breaking and sucking.
  13. These three are a toss up for me. I am considering the Camaro and Challenger more than the Mustang because Mustangs are such a common sight, but always in the back of my mind I realize that the Mustang is built in America, whereas the Camaro and Challenger will not be...that's right, Big Three, some of us still take that into consideration. I'm really leaning towards the Camaro now since I saw the convertible and found out how expensive even the base model Challengers are going to be, but I'm keeping an open mind on all three until they're all out and I have a chance to test drive them.
  14. I was referring more to the subcompacts.
  15. Subcompact...my bad. But you're probably right, it'd be much easier to import the cheap crap from China...but, even though I know cars have come a long way since this, if Henry Ford could succeed in slashing the cost of the Model T time and time again (I know, old reference), Chrysler could build its own stuff profitably if it tried hard enough.
  16. Yeah, I sure hope big oil cuts us a break soon. $45 every week to fill up my tank is getting pretty damn expensive for me.
  17. 32 mpg combined? In a hybrid? Get the f@#k out of my country, Honda.
  18. God, Chrysler...is it really that much of a chore to build your OWN compacts? I don't buy "made in China" if I can help it, so if I feel the pressing need to get a compact, it sure as hell won't be this one.
  19. That's quite a fine job.
  20. You can get a Prius to 100? I guess you do learn something new every day.
  21. Am I going crazy or does this Saab actually look good?
  22. Its never a good thing when people get put out of business like that. Granted, GM does need to trim its dealers, but it doesn't make it easy for the folks who work there.
  23. Huh. That's weird. What the hell did you have? All the Michigan-built vehicles my family, or even anyone we know, have been just as good as those built elsewhere.
  24. Nope, I just like seeing the Detroit automakers invest in Michigan as opposed to leaving it.
