  1. Well, I've only owned 2 cars, so here's my family's history: 198? Chevrolet Chevette - my parents still say they should've never gotten rid of this car. 1987 Pontiac 6000 - this is the worst car my family has ever owned. 199? Plymouth Voyager - this was a great little van, we had some trouble with it in the end though. 1995 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight - became my first car, but by the time I got it (2003), it had developed a myriad of problems. 1996 GMC Savanna - Not nearly as reliable as the Plymouth van. 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue - The "newest" car in our house. It has been poorly taken care of and has some minor electrical glitches. Other than that its seems to be fine. 2001 Dodge Intrepid - My current car...it has some minor electrical glitches that only seem to crop up when its really cold and the transmission isn't in the best shape, otherwise its reasonably solid. 2002 Pontiac Bonneville - The thing is apparently bulletproof. 2003 Ford Taurus - Apart from the transmission trouble (it was on its third) it was an alright car before it got wrecked. 2003 Pontiac Vibe 2005 Chevrolet Equinox
  2. Awesome, man! Congrats!
  3. One AMC Pacer station wagon.
  4. Pssh. I see broken down Toyotas all the time. That $h! can't stand up to a Michigan winter.
  5. The 9-3 is an uninteresting car. Regardless of the old platforms Buick is riding on, their cars still hold more appeal to me, as do Pontiacs. As far as Saab's "appeal" goes: they have no appeal or tarket market. They abandoned the quirky Swedish car image to become a half-assed luxury brand but only succeeded in becoming another bland, cookie-cutter nameplate roaming the roads. And my Intrepid...I like the brand, I like the car and it was in my price range. Just because I'm a member of a GM fansite doesn't mean that I'm going to exclusively buy their products.
  6. Watch out, Lexus. Better cars are being built.
  7. So what? Did Toyota give GM a taste for its own ass on a plate and is now handing them to itself now?
  8. I gotta admit, I'm glad to see it again.
  9. Screw Honda. Anyone with a brainstem knows that if you need a van you always go with Mopar.
  10. Maybe, maybe not. All I know is that I'd consider buying a Buick or Pontiac. Saab ranks below most Japanese brands for me.
  11. "Jewel in the GM crown"? I think Lutz is getting senile.
  12. Haha...I know. I was out there surveying what was done and I was just kinda like "Oh, good one!"
  13. Our house was "vandalized" at around 3 this morning. When my dad left for work he noticed that one of the gates to our backyard was wide open and some kid was riding his bike down the street. Well, as it turns out we were the victims of the world's lamest idea of vandalism: -The lid of our grill was taken off and the tin grease trap was thrown into the pool. -A small tray of golf balls we had sitting outside was also thrown into the pool. -A potted plant was moved off a table and set in the lawn. -The hose was turned on. -A dog brush was stolen. What. The. Hell. To be honest, I'm actually kind of amused that someone actually wasted their time trespassing on our property to sting us with a slight inconvienicene. I was really just kind of forced to laugh at the situation, as dumb as it is.
  14. Oh boohoo, Toyota. You must be the only business in history who ever faced a tough decision.
  15. BUICK Enclave Lucerne CADILLAC CTS STS CHEVROLET Camaro Silverado PONTIAC G8
  16. Please, Consumer's Report is only good for a laugh. If I want to compare vehicles, I'll go out and compare them.
  17. The bridge collapsing was a terrible thing, but just the fact that it even happened is going to make everything so much worse. We are such a panic-prone society, thousands of people are now going to freak out and never want to use the highways again. Some of the incredibly panicked will probably look at that site and f@#king move. Sad but true.
  18. Ya know, I've never really cared much for Alfa Romeo...though the one shown is alright.
  19. So they put it off for 30-45 days...so what? This really shouldn't be a "welcomed news". Welcomed news would be this getting shot the hell down in favor of something to do with alternative fuels...you know, the stuff every f'ing automaker is currently working on?
  20. 25%-40%. With Michigan's economy, I'm surprised its not worse. I'm sure it'll get there though.
  21. All that doesn't sound too bad. I like the idea that GM will keep Chevy's minivan and dump the rest...it keeps GM in the minivan market and it makes sense that its a Chevrolet.
