  1. Jeep getting all the SUVs isn't an entirely bad idea...but killing off Dodge cars? That's it. Chrysler's new management is an official failure. That is THE stupidest idea I've ever heard come out of any automaker. Its worse than Ford's plan to massmarket the Mustang...it tops that tenfold, and that's saying something. No Charger, Viper or Challenger? All the small economy cars imported from China going to Chrysler? What a pack of f*cking morons.
  2. I think next time you should delete the Lexus logo from the steering wheel. I'd bet fifty bucks that if it were gone, there'd be a lot more positive responses to the dashboard than this thread shows right now. Way too many people on this board see anything to do with Toyota and automatically hate it. Its a Lexus, sure, but I like it. Its not a bad looking interior.
  3. Nice to see they've decided for some out of the ordinary colors. I was getting kind of sick of every new car coming in your standard Black, Blue, Red, Silver, White and occasionally Beige.
  4. Fast food sucks...I stopped eating it regularly like a year ago and now I get sick when I do.
  5. "Paris Hilton did WHAT?!?" Uh, seriously, for the love of God, can we as a nation move the hell on?
  6. So, the Tundra brought SHAME to Toyota. I'm not too sure how Japanese tradition works, but doesn't that mean one of them is getting executed?
  7. It was tough to tell because it was travelling the other way on the expressway, but I do believe I saw a black, late model DB7.
  8. Just a thought, but if the US dollar keeps depreciating, could it potentially keep jobs in IN America that would normally be in danger of being outsourced?
  9. $20 billion to update the Big Three's factories? That'd be a start...for, oh, say...Ford's Michigan plants.
  10. .Now that I think about it, everyone who keeps telling me to see the Saw movies has met my serial horror movie argument with pretty much that same response...I've been pondering seeing them, but I'm still skeptical on how much the film makers could possibly reinvent that story And...they're remaking Friday the 13th? Unless they're going to shake things up in the story, no one's going to be a bit surprised when the killer turns out to be Jason's old prune of a mother. I'm not holding out on that movie being good, though, if its made by the same folks who brought us Freddy vs. Jason. Hellraiser I actually do hope they'll remake. It was a great movie, but its gotten pretty dated by now...it could use a bit of touching up. I did see the Halloween remake though. I went in with extremely low expectations and actually came out pleasantly surprised by the whole thing.
  11. I've been told I should see the Saw movies, but I staunchly refuse on the grounds that it started off as an original horror movie and will suffer the fate of all the other original horror movies that spawned sequels. In other words: it was a good, original idea the first time around that became stale and worn out through too many sequels...much like A Nightmare on Elm Street or Hellraiser.
  12. I hope you're exaggerating because that's entirely too optimistic.
  13. How is that a significant victory? That's like teaching a dog to sit. For every domestic-bashing Toyota-humping moron even slightly converted, there are still 100,000 more.
  14. None yet. I expect to start seeing some in a few weeks, though.
  15. Yeah, but it isn't hip to pick on imports.
  16. Halfway good news for Ford.
  17. Chrysler Barracuda?
  18. I know that the domestics have made gigantic strides in quality over the last 10-15 years...but even if they didn't I still wouldn't be buying anything else. What kind of dimwitted moron actually wouldn't help his country's automotive industry, economy AND workers on purpose? Think about it, back in the day they said that if GM sneezed, the whole country caught a cold. That kind of presence resonates far beyond the rust belt...and look at the size of GM now.
  19. If I see you in a Japanese car, especially a Toyota or Honda, you will not be let over by me. Wait for the next guy. If you are driving a Scion, Prius, Yaris, Element, Ridgeline, Tundra...ect., you will not only not be let over, but you will be very obviously mocked. However, if you are driving an American and have become a particular pain in my ass, you will obtain the same treatment as the jackass driving the import.
  20. I don't own any of the above (my broke ass can't afford that kind of stuff) but I have played the 360 and Wii. The 360 has a better selection of games, but the Wii is way more fun to play. I don't know...if I had to pick, I guess I'd go with the Wii.
  21. Cleaning out my room a year ago, I discovered a wealth of crap from when I was in high school. Old report cards, detention slips...you name it.
  22. Good! If there's one thing that no one needs, its a Chinese car.
  23. The truck doesn't bother me, it might if I saw the whole thing, I don't know. Whatever that Dodge car is...I don't care...the thing is hideous The Imperial I liked a lot...I like those old gigantic land yahts of yore and I was looking forward to seeing a modern interpretation of them. And that Compass concept looks like a frog.
