  1. Thanks for keeping Chrysler safe and warm, Daimler-Benz. If its really that much work to keep a branch that was, until recently, doing well...they maybe Daimler-Benz should just go out of business. Just the fact that they're ready to throw the towel in on Chrysler after only a few bad months is enough to elevate D-B to second place behind Toyota on my list of "automakers that I'll never buy a damn thing from". I keep saying that there is a huge possibility of Chrysler being able to survive ON ITS OWN, but no, Benz wants truckloads of money for the company they drove straight into the ground. What I really love is right here on this forum though...the whole "f@#k Chrysler" thing.
  2. Then its probably the end of Chrysler. A little red ink and they're off to the auction block. Such commitment.
  3. That's cute. Cadillac borrowed Edsel styling.
  4. I don't want to talk about Toyota being in America for 50 years...so I'll mention that in the Flint Journal yesterday there was a story about the Sloan Museum restoring a 1953 Buick Skylark...which was built to commemorate Buick's 50th anniversary. The Camry looks fat.
  5. That brochure was too nitpicky for me. It sounded like a big hissy fit on GM's part. The GLOVE BOX? Gimmie a break. They're all upset because they can't make consumers confident in their products, but don't remedy the situation with any good advertising on their part.
  6. For the most part, I think Chrysler's styling is great. I think that Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep have some of the best looking cars on the road.
  7. Lord, I think GM should just build the G8 where Pontiacs were traditionally built...in Pontiac.
  8. Hey, hey, hey...don't insult the Gremlin like that.
  9. Strange. I've never found steering wheels or keys as sexy as I do right now.
  10. It'll be fine for the G8 to be built down under for a little while, but if GM's serious about this car being a hit, they better damn well find a place to build it in North America.
  11. I just don't like the name. Skoda. It doesn't mean much, I know. But...Skoda. It sounds like a brand of tobacco.
  12. Devestating for Chrysler? The article almost makes it sound like if Daimler-Benz cut the Chrysler Group loose it wouldn't be able to produce ANYTHING. The only products that Chrysler would actually loose if it split with Daimler-Benz is the Crossfire and the Sprinter vans...that's assuming of course that Daimler-Benz and Chrysler don't stay partners with each other if they do split, and hell, I hope they do.
  13. Uh, GXT...you do know that the Volt is still in the developmental stages, right?
  14. I like the Demon better than the Solstice, but not as much as the Sky. The engine needs a bit more power in my opinion, but other than that, its a great looking car. Much better than the Razor.
  15. God, that thing reminds me of my dad's old 6000. The man loves Pontiac, but hated every inch of that car.
  16. I can't see any harm in GM selling the HHR in other countries...why not?
  17. "Simply put, if Saturn falls from orbit with all its new vehicles, GM likely will follow." I'd stop short of saying that. GM is healthy enough where the success of Saturn isn't going to make or break the company.
  18. Yeah, but its one big slap in the face to freedom of speech.
  19. Holy crap, other people smoke hookas? I could've sworn it was just my brother and me. Sweet.
  20. Are those people dressed as pimples or part of a Twister mat?
  21. First it was a Honda Element with an underbite. Now its a Honda Element with an underbite with the edges sanded off. What a captivating design this is.
