  1. Just read a comment on there saying "Toyotas are for homosapiens and GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles are for rednecks", which is funny because whenever I see someone driving a Toyota, I don't think "homosapien", I think "pretentious asswipe"...especially when they're driving a bleeding Prius.
  2. As though we haven't been trying for 25 years. Sometimes its tough when your economy's pulled out from under you.
  3. Ford 500. God its almost embarassing that it doesn't have a V8 option.
  4. If it happens, it won't affect employment immediately, no. If it does happen, the assembly will eventually move out of Flint, and just judging by what GM's done in the past, that entire line will probably just shut down afterwards.
  5. Sorry to hear that, man. All the best.
  6. More great news for Flint. Thanks GM!
  7. No one should be buying the Toyota = Domestic argument until they convert their stocks and move their headquarters and all major operations to North America. Its sad, really.
  8. My mom had a Chevette when I was a little kid. I only hardly remember it, but to this day my dad says we should've never traded it up for a minivan.
  9. 2008 Honda Accord = BIG f@#king snore. It just goes to prove my theory that if you took the badges off of most Asian cars, you couldn't tell them apart. I would've thought this was a Kia or Hyundai if they hadn't told me it was a Honda.
  10. I, for one, like the Imperial and I'm glad its going to enter production. I'd honestly rather see big American sedans again than to see the roads littered with tiny little Japan-inspired economy cars.
  11. It would be worth getting one to put in one of the bathrooms in my grandparent's house just to hear them shriek when they see it.
  12. Excuse me if I don't jump for joy over another crossover coming from ANYONE. They're not really my cup o' tea, but Dodge needs it, so good for them.
  13. The Pentstar needs to be the corporate logo. Divisional logos should be untouched. I also like that they're actually celebrating their freedom from DaimlerBenz. Maybe when the sale is complete, they'll give DB the finger and resurrect Plymouth.
  14. That really would be a terrible sight to behold. No one should ever be subjected to such visual torture.
  15. I liked the cover on my 3800 and was actually a little disappointed that the engine in my Intrepid didn't have one.
  16. About f@#king time. I was getting sick of the passive advertising that's been so abundant.
  17. Saturn's only been around 17 years. I'm sure an embarassing amount of people don't realize its an American brand yet.
  18. I hate the Tundra ads. Its not because I hate Toyota, its because they're all practially screaming "WE HAVE REAL TRUCKS NOW!!! PAY ATTENTION!!! REAL TRUCKS!!!" They're trying too hard and its making the Tundra look absolutely ridiculous. I mean that commercial that ends with "room for you and a meatball sub"? I haven't seen anything try to strive so hard to look manly since the "Silverado-turned-Monster truck" I saw in the grocery store parking lot.
  19. Hell yes! Soon as Castro kicks, I'm heading down and picking up a few Buicks and Chryslers.
  20. What a sue-happy nation we are. The rest of the world must be envious of our legal system.
  21. Snore. Just more of the same old song and dance from sensationalist media. "This new Chinese virus will f@#king kill you if you come within 500 yards of anyone who's been to China! We'll let you know what you can do about it at 11." Funny how none ever seems to question that my only new sources are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
  22. I'm really wondering what's next for Chrysler now. Without Daimler looking over their shoulder 100% of the time, I'd say everyone at Chrysler has a free pass to do whatever the hell they want (they've got Cerebus now, but I'm hoping that since they're not an auto company they won't have the stranglehold on Chrysler that Daimler did). I'm hoping they get going on moving the Chrysler brand upmarket and maybe revive some old names. Ridiculous as it probably sounds to some people, I kind of want to see Plymouth again.
  23. I don't care if Toyota puts out a RWD anything, it will still not be something I will consider purchasing. Toyota could buy the Oldsmobile name from General Motors and it would make no impact on my desire to have anything from them...plus it would probably make me mad.
  24. I like it better in red, although I'm still not feelin' the new logo.
  25. It kind of makes me sick that hardcore Toyota fans think Americans do shoddy work.
