    Its Super Tuesday

Voted... provisional, because my absentee ballot never arrived, and I didn't want to drive 30+ miles to my original polling place.
  2. To me they made sacrifices in styling trying to differentiate it from other Lambdas. But still, that's better than having a rebadged Outlook or something.
  3. I'm interested in pricing the most... the OUTLOOK XE starts at $28,995, and I assume this Chevy variant would be a bit less, with its 17" wheels (as opposed to standard 18") and so on. The Equinox desperately needs help with the Traverse coming. The cheapest 'Nox with a modern V6 is the $28,435 Sport.
  4. It looks like they Beat an Enclave.
  5. Doubt it. Every minivan has Stow 'N Go in the third row, and if the second row is only available with captains chairs (which don't fold into the floor, like the GC/T&C's), there will still be stowage space underneath. The only question is whether it'll have Swivel 'N Go.
  6. That's a typo from Autoblog; it's actually a 3.8L that has less than 200 hp. I'd rather see a Golf or Passat powertrain - a 2.0T with 197 hp or a 3.6L with 276 hp, mated to a six-speed DSG.
  7. This is by far the nastiest interior I've seen for 2009, IMO. There's absolutely no design sense or thought to it; I prefer both the Mustang's and Camaro's to this interior. I do like the exterior, though, especially in silver.
  8. True, the interior looks much improved, and supposedly the handling is improved, too. Those are two of the biggest shortcomings of the Chrysler vans. If it's priced appropriately, I think it could be the best or second-best minivan out there.
  9. The Microbus Concept came out 7 years ago, and it easily beats this Routan in design...
  10. I wonder which platform is more suitable - Lambda or Zeta? Zeta is rated for higher GVWR (it weighs more) and has a higher towing capacity, but Zeta is RWD and was engineered for the Ute from day one.
  11. Maybe a Lambda dual-mode Escalade? A Tahoe Hybrid gets 20/20; imagine a curb weight lower by 1000 lbs.
  12. I saw a red Suzuki Swift (not SX4)... perhaps they're considering selling them here?
  13. Driving impressions are embargoed. And anyway, there's a huge section just for the G8 somewhere on Edmunds's site; I think it's a "special advertising feature", though it doesn't say.
  14. Very nice... it's very aggressive looking. This is a great vehicle for those who think they need a full-size pickup, yet at the same time it offers better fuel economy. Great to see GM consider offering alternative and compelling choices.
  15. Looks like Prius sales are on their way to 150K/yr..
  16. There's a guy in one of them there internets, who insists on using B99 in his Passat. He had to rebuild his engine after 30k miles, and he still insists on using it.
  17. How many cellulosic ethanol plants can you get from $11.7 billion?
  18. Their powertrains were interesting... they offered the first mass-produced direct-injection gas engine in the US, and the Duramax diesel seems to be doing alright.
  19. Also it takes more crude to make a gallon of diesel than gasoline. Diesel is more energy dense than gas.
  20. This Transit Connect should easily do it. It's much smaller and lighter than the regular Transit.
  21. You're passing up the biggest scam of the last 2 minutes.
