  1. Won't the G6 Convertible come standard with a 201 horsepower 3.5?
  2. Ehh, that's a bit too retro.
  3. How about a $32,855 Jeep Wrangler? A $34,280 Chevy Astro? Or a $16,160 Chevy Aveo?
  4. Possibly... but I reckon you'd go back to the BMW dealer after driving one. We had a 1987 Volvo 740 Turbo, which is now our grandfather's, and despite the turbo, it wasn't really that good to drive. The steering was terrible, much worse than any 3-series from that era, and the turbo didn't kick in until 3000 rpm. But, hey, my parents bought it because "it was safe."
  5. Why doesn't Suzuki capitalize on its motorcycle pedigree then? "The new Aerio, inspired by our PQRSTT-400 sports bike." AWD on the Aerio (and 155 horsepower; same as their 6-cyl Verona) is quite impressive, though... I didn't even realize they offered it. They should market that.
  6. My sense of humor ain't that great... are you trying to be serious or humorous?
  7. Funny... to me, the "hotter" or "sluttier" the girl, as in the pictures above, the more revolting she seems.
  8. The UAE and UN are probably the only reasons why Toyota still makes the Land Cruiser.
  9. Saw a Segway "driving" down the bikelane of a street.
  10. I hope GM doesn't get the impression that the Impala's interior is fine. Vastly improved it may be, it's still far away from classleaders.

    XLR redesign

I like the XLR as-is... it looks better than the SL, IMO. I hope the next generation XLR will be even more outrageous... or maybe leave that to a CLR?
  12. The Ridgeline isn't FWD (or an "empty Unibody truck") ... really, you should do more research before making comments like "Please for the love of all things holy tell me you're f$%king kidding!" or "If this $hit wasn't so damn funny I'd be depressed about all the ignorance on this board." The misinformation is staggering on this thread. Anyway, if I were in the market for a truck, I'd be willing to sacrifice some towing capacity or payload for something that drives like a car.
  13. I've seen quite a few A3s... they're starting to become more and more common. The DTS seems to be doing decently. I've seen two that weren't rentals.
  14. The S40's secondary controls are actually very simple to operate, thanks to the four big knobs.
  15. Looks like a five year-old Fiat or something.
  16. Those are 2WD cars with beds on the back. The Ridgeline platform isn't shared with any car on the planet. It's got an entirely original fully boxed ladder frame with a unibody passenger cell for safety.
  17. Wonder if it's possible... a car running on gunpowder. Is it possible to capture the energy from, say, a bomb? Maybe use that to run an electric motor. Will that create CO2?
  18. So the moral of the lesson is, if you're Bond, and you plan on driving through a steel hall, don't do it in a new S-class. Nice.
  19. I think that was Chrysler..
  20. Primary car would be My-Mommy's-BMW, but my official car, according to the insurance company, is the Volvo 240. If I could vote for more than one, it'd be BMW, VW, Honda, and Volvo.
  21. To me, it seems more practical to buy a Ridgeline instead of a traditional truck for the purposes of day-to-day transport.
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-CXL-B...1QQcmdZViewItem The door panels look great, better than the DTS's, but the dash... it's just lacking something. The HVAC/stereo controls look particularly downmarket. And outside, from the side, it looks like a flattened asymmetrical bell. Still, nice to see progress. Most of the materials look fine. And the anthracite wheels look great, though they don't fit the car's body. Unlike the Lucerne, the DTS doesn't look like it's floating, even with the 17" wheels.
