  1. Good, unlike the Aura, we've got interior spy pics. I'm lowering my expectations so that I won't get too disappointed. Hell, hopefully I'm in for a surprise.
  2. Lemme guess... a Saab Cobalt?

    Topless Model!

Yeah... in the same way the Sixteen concept is basically an overpriced and over rated Aveo.
  4. If I'm not mistaken, the Jetta has a larger interior than the A4. So I'd think the same would be true for the A3 and Golf.
  5. The Element has a lot, lot more usable interior and cargo space than the Matrix, xB, PT, and HHR.
  6. $3.35/gal for premium today...
  7. Have you considered the GLI/GTI/A3? All three are fun to drive and have a premium feel; plus, you get 25/31 with DSG, and 23/32 with a manual.
  8. Exactly. That's why I like the Fusion and Milan... you can get SEL and Premier versions with 2.3L engines and 5-speed manual. I've crossed the Aura off my list because of the mandatory V-6 and automatic.
  9. No, you see, Buick is beyond precision!

But wouldn't it be more cost efficient to have just one midsize Chevy family sedan? Let the Impala be the full-on, rear-drive, V-8... Impala.

Toyota is definitely "mainstream", not "premium". It's just that Chevy is "economy". I guess the problem with upgrading the Malibu to Camry levels and Camry pricing is that GM won't have a product for the bargain-oriented to compete against the other second-tier cars. I guess that's what Suzuki is for?
  12. Not anymore, I think... they were on during the Olympics few months ago.
  13. Yet ANOTHER advantage of FWD...
  14. Styling different from the concept.
  15. The Costco tire center we go to uses nitrogen. Can't really tell any difference.
  16. Two of our neighbors have bought Avalon Tourings, and if I wanted a big family sedan, that's the one I'd get. A quick check of the Toyota site shows that the Touring model is $29,025 with standard Xenons, fogs, power front seats, leather, side curtain airbags, and reclining rear seats.
  17. I personally like two-tone dashboards.
  18. Yay, the "6.3" is back, even though it's a 6.2.....
  19. The TL doesn't have much torque steer in automatic form. It's the LSD in manual cars that yanks the front-end around under hard acceleration.
  20. It's so good the 6-series is in trouble, IMO.
  21. Interesting how both reviews were released the same day.
  22. Yeah, it turns out they don't. Interestingly, the Sonata has double-wishbones up front, whereas the Optima only has struts.
  23. Finally used it today... there's this placeholder between posts that go "You have chosen to ignore *********. View this post · Un-ignore ********* " to lessen any dialogue confusion.
