  1. While we're on food stars... David Lieberman... Jamie Oliver...
  2. It's hard to believe they churn out the Azteks and Malibus there.
  3. In the M6 v. Vantage v. 997 TG comparison, Jeremy explaining why he wouldn't have the 911: "But people see you!"
  4. Looks great for a Corsa!
  5. My mom's favorite car... the A3:
  6. Heh, the 268 horsepower is SAE-approved. It used to be 280 in the Avalon.
  7. Yeah, the Legacy is easily one of the "better" midsize family sedans.
  8. I'm surprised the curtain airbags didn't deploy during that rollover.
  9. I have until June 15, a Thursday, and summer school starts immediately after the weekend, on Monday.
  10. Yep, the ones I've eaten (from Baskin-Robbins and Coldstone), have cake in them.
  11. Yep. I think in the US, for the most part... Saturn = Opel Chevy cars = Daewoo Pontiac = Holden Cadillac global Buick global Saab global
  12. If you mean between the radio and run, here it is: H: So the question has to be, have you worked it out yet? C: Yes, I have. The Ferrari costs that much because it works on the track and it works on the road. This only works on a track. H: You said you can't use it on the road... C: No, no, you can use it on the road, legally, you just wouldn't want to. H: Why? C: I'm not joking, driving it home, after filming that, I made a list of all the things that are wrong with it. No, I really have. The driveline shunt, you know when you put your foot down, feels like you're in an accordian, uuughgh, the back has come off. The radio is rubbish. At low revs, the engine, honestly sounds like it's being fueled with spanners. The tire roar is deafening; you can't hear anything. It's too wide, the steering wheel is on the wrong side, the trim is woeful. The ride, could break your back every time you run over anything, the gearbox feels like it came from a tractor... H: All right, can I just say, we've got the message, then. C: No, I'm not joking. As something to live with every day, I would rather have bird flu.
  13. Toyota makes the ES350 in addition to the Camry and Avalon. Similarly, a LaCrosse, Malibu, and Impala make sense in GM's lineup, because they (should) target different markets. Giving Saturn unique products only makes sense because Opel is to stay and their dealer network exists. Saab is Saab. That only leaves Pontiac, but hey, isn't Toyota making a Scion sports sedan?
  14. Oh, also, they took a BLS for their trip to the radio station. I was pleasantly surprised by how great it looked in "real-world" non-studio footage. It's the best looking sedan in its class, IMO, and I definitely prefer the looks to the CTS.
  15. I got the impression they loved it and only pointed out the clunky gearbox, cheap interior, plastic body, left-hand drive, and hard ride as something to look out for. A non-Z51 C6 with magnetic shocks and six-speed automatic cures some of those problems.
  16. What about the bit between the review and the run? :AH-HA_wink: I don't think he has ever made a review without pointing out shortcomings, and this was no exception.

  18. I made breakfast for her and now dinner for this pot-luck we're going to. Portobello Parmesan... mmmm.
  19. Thanks for the review. Someone's dad at our school has a red F430 F1 coupe (and Merc SLR, Carrera GT, Stingray 'Vette, and Shelby Cobra...), and I can attest to that amazing (!!!) engine noise, particularly during a 1-2 gear change when it "snorts" from the instant drop in revs. My only beef is that all F430s are inherently uncool, particularly the Spider.
  20. Meh, personally I think that looks cheesy, particularly on the LaCrosse.
  21. If it came summer '07, I'd definitely consider it. End-of-year '07 is quite a wait, though.
  22. Wow, the steering wheel and new radio makes such a huge difference. The interior looks 10X better than the old Cobalt's.
  23. Our BMW dealer keeps a Gallardo and F430 out in front, too.
