  1. Very, very, very nice! It's perfect; I can't find a single thing wrong with it, apart from the wear on the leather. At the moment I prefer this to the Acadia (front is too weird) and the Enclave (trying too hard).
  2. I can't fit in the back of one without slouching and tilting my head forward. The LaX is inexcusably cramped for such a large car.
  3. Agreed, if only for my love of the ICE. A fuel cell Camaro, GTO, or M3 would be dreadful.

Did I read that right? 4.8??

    Not your father

His job isn't high-stress... it's more about the way he deals with people and issues. He makes a huge deal out of things that shouldn't matter and dictate his energy and mind.

    Not your father

I've rubbed off a few things off my father... like poor time management and paranoia. My dad's the most pedantic and worried and overly-concerned guy in the world, and it reflects on his poor health; he can never take it easy or relax. It alarms me how often I follow in these footsteps...
  7. Funny, I was pricing one a few minutes ago. For someone who just wants a good car, the SE V6 model is a steal at $21,739, according to CarsDirect. That's $4K less than a Camry V6.
  8. It's nice but not compelling enough. Why turn down the Aura, Altima, Passat, or Accord for this? AFAIK, no navigation, no curtain airbags, no stability control.
  9. Agreed. I'm all for diversifying possible solutions. It's just that hydrogen is billed as an environmental cure-all, when in reality it faces the same issues as other alternative fuels: electricity source. Sounds good. It's funny how the fuel has to keep up with the car, not the other way around. When practical hydrogen and sustainable ethanol becomes a reality, GM will have the right vehicle. (edit = added some bits in bold to clarify intent of post)
  10. Yes, but hydrogen doesn't float around in nature. It takes tons of electricity to obtain hydrogen from splitting water, or in other words, fossil fuels like coal or natural gas, solar energy, wind energy, or hydroelectric power. Electric cars use these same energy sources (both renewable or nonrenewable), but the technology and infrastructure are already here today.
  11. There's a ton of hydrogen hype going on, but on an environmental scale, I'm struggling to see how it's any better than, say, an electric car or plug-in hybrid. Anyone?
  12. They talked about it in the show... something about Richard "taking the picture of a Brera to the lavatory."
  13. AFAIK, Saturn doesn't make a diesel vehicle that requires a urea exhaust treatment.
  14. Diesels are already more expensive to build than comparable gas engines, so like hybrids, it's questionable whether or not there will be a payback.
  15. Sweet. This is like Blutec but without requiring AdBlue. Tier 2 Bin 5 = CA OK
  16. Nice. It looks both futuristic and production-ready.

    Pimp My G6!!!

It's PONTI-PONTI-PONTIACTION, part of the WIDETRACK TAPshift winning spree!
  18. Wow, I haven't seen an unintegrated key for a loooong time. Key and doorhandle quality make a huge impression on the buyer, IMO.
  19. Yeah, this is really going to attract new buyers and revolutionize GM's image.
  20. Yeah, the Lambdas should have come with a SWB form. The meat of the market have two-rows, and the ones with third rows are dog benches that are never used anyway.
  21. The materials definitely look improved, but I'm still not crazy about the appearance. The new components don't match the old (steering wheel, seats). Perhaps it'll look more cohesive in black.
  22. The only decent Camry is the SE V6. The ride is bumpy enough to give an illusion of sportiness, and the engine is biblically powerful for such a car. The Camry Hybrid seems like a nice, compromise-free green car, but it's soooooooo boring.
