  1. How about running around the block a few times?
  2. The Mountaineer already has this very cool terry cloth-like insert. A similar patter in alcantara would be sweet.
  3. What is it with Germans and their obsession with certain things American?
  4. Teh SV6, Terraza, Uplander, and Relay are teh sex~!~~~!!~!!!
  5. Fixed. 205856[/snapback] Fixed x2.
  6. BMW did it perfectly with their '01 530i.
  7. Something like a DSG would be even better.
  8. Agreed. Our Passat's electronic throttle sucks. Yesterday I suddenly needed more acceleration and then didn't; I floored it and relased... nothing happened, no downshift, not even any change in throttle.
  9. And remember, there's no point to a fast computer without a decent 'net connection!
  10. Top Gear reviewed the Talon... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mTD3N7nMxA ... a riot control vehicle, with a 20,000 volt electrified skin, grenade launcher, fire hose, high-decibel siren, and more.
  11. Z06 motor in the new CTS would be wicked. That competitive with AMG's new 6.3 (517 horsepower) and way more than the RS4's 4.2 (414 horsepower). An available automatic wouldn't be a bad idea... who cares about rowing gears when there's so much torque?
  12. MINI Bulldog S advert... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8ZuuouDWBA
  13. A pay-per-use OnStar would be great. It's difficult paying $22/mo for something that will likely never be used, but I'll gladly pay $100/use if I really did need emergency help. Turn-by-turn is $38/month, which after three years, is $1368, the price of a proper navigation system.
  14. Plus Apples actually have some resale value.
  15. This thing weights nearly 8000 lbs?! That's definitely useful for shoving off little Civics.
  16. Exactly. They're well-built, comfortable, premium cars.
  17. Dinner party, perhaps? The ones where people discuss the latest musicals and critique art galleries.
  18. That's odd... * Never been in an accident * Never had any body work * Never had any paint work * Never been registered Yet a salvage title?
  19. We own an Odyssey EX-L. Good reliability and fit and finish? Let's see, 25K miles so far... * thin sheetmetal -- I dented the hatch from closing it * thin leather -- looks like it has endured 100K miles * tranny issues -- Honda V6 transmissions are notorious for being unreliable; we had the recall done, but we're still getting occasional jerking * loud -- noisy beyond belief; full of rattles and tire roar * hard materials -- not a single piece of soft plastic; lots of molding seams instead It drives well for a minivan, and it's very fast, but the quality isn't much to brag about.
  20. The RL wasn't designed to be an Acura like the RDX, MDX, and TL were, nor was it designed to be a global competitor against BMWs, Audis, and Mercs. Honda simply reasoned there wasn't much to lose by sending the Legend here, and they were right; they sold a few copies. Perhaps when Honda establishes Acura worldwide, like Toyota is doing with Lexus, will we see a distinctive RL. What we have now is Honda's top premium sedan, full of innovative technology, sure, but without the identity necessary to compete against prestige brands.
