  1. I don't get it. The regular Yukon I get, because it's about towing, off-road ability, and high-ridin' style. But the hybrid Yukon has a limited towing capacity, lowered ground clearance, and tacky add-ons. It's like... well, making a gas-guzzling full-size SUV more efficient, while taking away the advantages of a gas-guzzling full-size SUV. And the Yukon pales in comparison to the Acadia/Enclave in terms of space and luxury. That said, 24 combined MPG is impressive for a 3-ton SUV, even if it's a bit pointless.
  2. '89-'06: Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA ... which is kinda pathetic, which I hope to qunituply pretty soon.
  3. H-h-hhh-hot. I love how it looks under the setting desert sun.
  4. You're right. The AURA Green Line is slightly more compelling now.
  5. Right technology on the wrong vehicle. It won't be until 2010 when GM releases its first full-hybrid car.
  6. I love the dash... very original.
  7. Camry Hybrid: $24,220 after tax break 40/38 MPG 192 horsepower Aura Hybrid: $22,345 after tax break 25/36 MPG 164 horsepower
  8. That's 25/36... no wonder why they didn't tell us. 4-cylinder performance with 4-cylinder fuel economy for 6-cylinder pricing
  9. It's not bad. There are touches of Koreaness and cheapness to it, but if the pricing doesn't change, I think it'll be very competitive.
  10. Releasing a hybrid... without saying its MPG figures.
  11. Tooooo bling. I prefer the satiny Mariner.
  12. Ewwww... looks like a Nissan Monte Carlo.
  13. The DTS plastic is slightly better than Impala/Lucerne plastic. It's similar to the Escalade upper door panel stuff.
  14. The ideas are all pretty lame and meaningless, IMO.
  15. In CA, I wouldn't hold your breath. Tier 2 Bin 5 is incredibly expensive to meet.
  16. It would look nice with the standard 16" LT polished wheels, which aren't blingy like the chromes or boring like the painted silvers. The black chrome exterior trim does de-bling it nicely.
  17. Nice... though what I'm really excited about is their upcoming plug-in hybrid, which is even greener given current hydrogen production possibilities.
  18. Does this have the IRS the spys were speculating?
  19. This DTS would make a great car for those who liked the old LS430, IMO. Its engineering might be dated, but it offers comfort, room, and isolation for $20K less.
  20. I like the XLR exterior, but its interior, depreciation, sophistication, and performance relative to the cheaper Corvette makes it difficult to justify.
