  1. Saab 9-5? It has big seats, lots of air vents, FWD, aviation history...
  2. That's why Fly is a firm believer in lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, lane-keep assist, radar-guided cruise control, and panic brake pre-load...
  3. The French still do cheap car design better, but the more I look, this isn't bad.
  4. Ford has been the number one selling brand in Britain for 30 years now. And like Americans, the Swedish and British still buy tons of cars from foreign-owned companies (Saab/Volvo and MINI/Jaguar/Aston/Land Rover/Bentley/Rolls, respectively). What if Toyota purchased an old American nameplate... would that make them American?
  5. A five-seat (or cramped third-row) SWB version please...
  6. Never had a dealership sticker... but I keep most of their plates on... chiefly because I'm too cheap to buy a proper blank one.

    2007 G35

Enterprise usually have non-traditional fleet cars... I've seen everything from MINI Cooper S convertibles to Priuses.
  8. The current STS has bluetooth... One cool thing with Caddy's system is the ability to sync address data from PDA to nav by beaming. Don't they also offer live traffic, or at least on the CTS?
  9. http://reviews.cnet.com/2008_Mitsubishi_La...57.html?tag=pop I think all cars should have such a hard drive..
  10. The Deville two-generations ago was the last GM vehicle to have Airbank. Currently only the Dodge Sprinter has it (along with a shoulder belt and headrest).
  11. They've Amantied an Azera.

  13. I think it looks really cool. The small luxury SUV segment is really emerging.
  14. Tahoe 5.3 - 320 hp/340 lb-ft - 5600 lbs - 8.5 seconds to 60 H3 Alpha - 295 hp/317 lb-ft - 5000 lbs - 8 seconds to 60 Sounds about right. Maybe that's without the optional final drive.
  15. Without a limited slip or locking diff (open diff), power naturally goes to the wheel that spins easiest. Edit: Nevermind... the Escalade/Yukon Denali have a viscous center differential. Edit #2: Actually, it doesn't. The previous Escalades had it, but not the GMT900s.
  16. The full-time AWD systems in the Escalade and Denali lack a low range and locking differentials, and they're "fully automatic" in that there are no levers to pull or buttons to push. Power automatically goes to the wheel with the least traction, unless Stabilitrak brakes the slipping wheel, which in theory should redistribute power, albeit jerkily. The 4WD system in the H2 can be manually switched into high/low-ranges with or without locking diffs.
  17. Better than I expected, the H2 interior. I wonder what MPG the H3 Alpha will get.

    That's IT!

    What's wrong with the Astro/Safari?
  19. So five out of seven will be V8s? And three will be Hummers?

BMW M3 Will Honk 420 hp

What's interesting is that the 335i has more torque, and it comes at lower RPMs (300 lb-ft @ 1400) to boot. In a way, this small, high-revving V8 will still be like the traditional high-revving I6 M3s of old. It'll just have more power. If you want torque you could always get an AMG Mercedes. Or the '99-'03 M5.
  21. I think that's the best idea ever, given the increase in ecological concerns. If the Sixteen is going to be a halo, low-volume, high-style, low-engineering, image-over-substance exotic, they might as well coachbuild one from the GM partsbin. GMT900 frame, Tahoe Hybrid drivetrain, kinda like the SSR... Usually people who plunk down $200K for a one-of-a-kind good don't care how quickly it'll go around the Nurburgring. It'll stay in the garage except for the occasional Sunday cruise or music video.
  22. I guess they're saving regular black for the Denali Acadia, which is like the Denali signature color. For the Enclave, I'd have a CXL in tri-coat white and 19" chromes, please.
  23. You can't get an Outlook, or any Lambda for that matter, in black.
