  1. It's a real Pontiac not a pretender to the throne. Holden cars are boring and styled to Australian taste. Plus I know the Holden people up close and personal, they don't like being controled by GM. Which makes me all the happier when I am there! They will never get one penny from me to support their operations. In fact, I would buy BMW before I ever buy a Holden. There is not much love there, between them and I, it's a long sorted personal story and will never be resolved. Let's just say if GM was to ever spin them off, I would not shed one tear.
  2. It's not a better car, it's a boring car. You should have studied your B words more, when you were in school.
  3. WOW, that must really hurt.
  4. Well the G8 nor the GTO, will ever see one red cent out of my pocket. If I wanted a last generation BMW, I would have bought one.
  5. Hey reg, you're asking the wrong guy here buddy. I'm the guy that just bought a 5.3 liter V8 and I don't make US Federal policy. Well not until y'all elect me as the President!
  6. Holden can't produce enough of them there to meet our demand. You do realize Holden has just one assembly plant, which needs to produce, cars for it's home market (all the Zeta variants), plus cars for Asia, Mid East, South Africa, and now the G8 for North America. Not to mention the new Ute that is coming. Holden just can't do it.
  7. There's a war inside of GM about these cars now and if they are even viable with the Global Warming and Fuel Efficiency propaganda going on. This is all very interesting, to say the least.
  8. As Marie Antoinette is perhaps best remembered for her legendary "Let them eat cake", when the poor of the French Revolution complained there was no bread to eat. I say, "Let them eat my V8"! Viva la GM!
  9. You're a true friend! Thanks! Ya can take the boy out of Plano, TX, but you can't take the Plano, TX, out of the boy.
  10. Happy Birthday, y'all! :sign0200:

  12. No need to hurry, there are plenty of 06's sitting on dealer lots! Just go to Pontiac's website and see for yourself. Here is a list from my area alone! There will still be plenty of these Red-Headed Step-children around when the 08 model year rolls in, two years after the fact, not to worry! http://www.pontiac.com/vehiclelocator/loca...p;x=61&y=13
  13. Little Richard (Mash potatos, gravy, and cranberry sauce!)
  14. I don't care for antennas that stick up like that. Did intergrated antennas in the back window go out of fashion? I don't care to see them, they detract from the car's overall appearance.
  15. No, you're getting the GTO confused with the Monaro! That so called Pontiac, is not a Pontiac at all.
  16. Very nice pics Olds Guy, thanks for sharing them again.
  17. Yeah they are in Maryland, I know for a fact they are in Elkton and Ocean City. Here is the link for Maryland stores. Where it says state, click on Maryland, then the cities come up in alpha order. http://www.wawa.com/storelocator/storeloc-list.asp
  18. Where are you? You can buy TastyKakes online. My cousin does who lives in FT. Worth, TX.
  19. So what you're saying is, your're sucking up at school and that's why you haven't been around. Is that it in a nutshell? JK, nice to see hard workers!
  20. It's a Mid-Atlantic thang! WAWA means Flying Goose in Delaware Indian. http://www.wawa.com http://www.tastykake.com
  21. Some GM Fuel Cell Goals (slides)
  22. I have the same thing in my family, my youngest brother has one brown eye and one blue eye.
  23. Look closely, they are most likely pointing and laughing!
  24. I think it's just that the west coast has many Asians living there and they are buying their home brands (Honda & Toyota), unlike what Americans do. IMHO!
  25. It's not a Pontiac it's a Holden!
