  1. No Sir, I have had the non-pleasure of having to had work with many of them there (I'm not speaking of line workers). It's not something that I would wish on my own worst enemy, if I had one. I have found they don't like being controled by GM and suffer from what Saturn use to suffer from, "they actually think they are a car company in their own right", just like Saturn use to think it was. I report up though Opel, therefore I favor them over Holden. Also have you noticed Europe is not getting a Zeta? Hmmmm I wonder why? Could it be that Carl-Peter Forster does not like Holden either? He will be the new Lutz soon enough, then Holden will be a non-issue for me. On a side note, I enjoy these forums more than any others I am subscribed to. This is heaven, compared to some others I could mention, but I won't. Edited: I don't consider the UK, Europe!
  2. God I love how Opel is becoming more and more involved in the US and Saturn. I hope Opel becomes the brand of choice via Saturn in the North American market.
  3. I thought those water pumps were pretty solid. Also MikeBike welcome to the C&G forums.
  4. So let's abandon Holden and see what Opel has to offer us instead.
  5. GM's EV1 Graveyard!
  6. But wait you don't like W bodies!
  7. When I leave work, I cut the head off a chicken and throw the body out of the sunroof as I cruise along at 60 MPH.

  9. A blast from the past! Weekend production at GM Holden’s Elizabeth plant in Adelaide came to a grinding halt this morning as hundreds of giant Yabbies took over the factory floor. Bemused factory workers could do nothing but run as the fast moving horde overran the factory. The crustacean, known locally as ‘Chazwazzes’, are thought to have come from a dam near the plant that supplies Holden with water for it’s foundry works. GM Holden Chairman Denny Mooney, who was visiting the plant at the time, said it was the strangest occurrence he has ever seen. “Wild creatures shutting down an auto plant?! That's pretty strange, even by US standards, and I should know” said Mooney. One worker was injured when a large group of the creature chased him down into a new Commodore that he had been working on. They ripped off his clothing before they attacked his genitals, an area they are known to attack first. “My missus would have killed me if I lost my manhood" the worker later laughed. "I tried to tell them I was already circumcised but they wouldn't listen". The worker received only minor cut and bruises to the lower half of his body. 10. In Germany where I went to what you would call Grade School, all children had to learn 3 languages by age 10 and be fluent in them, at that time. Most took English, Russian and French. I didn't, I took, English, Latin and Italian. Learning Latin opened the door to understanding all the Romance languages and even English, since 80% of English words have Latin roots. I would consider myself, muti-cultural and multi-lingual, however I speak English whenever possible, you know the old saying "When in Rome do as the Romans do. So in the US I speak English, in Germany I speak German and in Latin American countries I speak Spanish, allbeit I've stopped using Vosotros altogether now. Oh by the way, I got here by U-Boat! :rotflmao:
  11. I think the problem is to many people Farting, you know who you are! You are producing large concentrations of Methane gas. Methane is a relatively potent greenhouse gas with a global warming potential. When averaged over 100 years each kg of CH4 warms the Earth 23 times as much as the same mass of CO2, however there is approximately 220 times as much CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere as methane. The top map shows where the main Farters are! The bottom map shows where the Fart smell is hanging around warming up the earth at the equator. To cure this, try not to Fart! :rotflmao:
  12. I don't know how they will manage that, with only one assembly plant and still satisfy, their home market, Asia, Mid East and South Africa. Also their UTE production.
  13. I had one in my old Grand Prix. It cost 69.95 to be fixed, for that little bit I just paid it out of pocket.
  14. Prima Classe
  15. You would think that!
  16. Anything that is good for Opel, is good for me.

  18. Waiter
  19. When I have both arms up, the Earth gets warm. When I have one arm up, and one down, the Earth remains the same as it is. If both arms ar down the Earth cools!!!! :rotflmao:

  23. I just paid $2.81 a gallon for high test here for my 5.3 liter. This was my 1st fillup in this car.
