  1. I like this one - CARS R US, I will sell it to GM for only 100K.
  2. Well as Mild Mannered PCS, I can do little. But when I tie a Holden flag around my neck, I become "HOLDEN MAN'! :AH-HA_wink: Faster than a Speeding Chevy Aveo, more powerful than a Supercharged Holden Barina, able to jump taller than any Kangaroo. Here is a pic of me as I race to save Holden from itself.
  3. God they most likely paid some ad agency a few million bucks to come up with that!
  4. The eruption of one volcano creates more pollutants than 10 years of car fumes.
  5. You don't need a gun to subdue a target, at least not the ones I go after. There are many ways to skin a cat. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. Makes me warm and fuzzy that 90% of the time I travel on my EU (German) passport and not my US one.
  7. It makes me nervous when our Freedoms are supposed to be protected by GOVERNMENT, I feel more comfortable with an armed citizenry protecting them. Also catholic being universal.
  8. Where have you been Delta Force, I haven't seen you in a while.
  9. Eat drink and me merry, for tomorrow we die, isn't that what the gladiators said in ancient Rome? Or something to that effect. None taken, but I'm no accountant. I've been described more like your friendly internal corporate assassin. Be that as it may, I do take pride in my work.
  10. Hmmm, I saw one one of those today parked at McDonalds, it was painted Power Ranger Pink.
  11. As a Buddhist, I always try to follow the Middle Way—a path of moderation in all things, especially politics. :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Just GM blowing a smokescreen up someones A$$. You might want to hold on to that thumb.
  13. Reuters January 11, 09:05 CET SHANGHAI (Reuters) -- General Motors Corp said today its vehicle sales in Asia Pacific grew 15.1 percent in 2007, helped largely by strong demand in mainland China. The top US automaker sold a record 1.44 million vehicles in Asia, boosting its market share in the region to an estimated 6.9 percent, up from 6.5 percent in 2006, it said in a statement. Sales in China rose 18.5 percent to a record 1.03 million vehicles during the period. In Korea, domestic sales of GM and GM Daewoo products hit an all-time high of 131,040 units, while exports of vehicles by GM Daewoo rose to more than 820,000 units, it said, without providing comparative figures. Sales in India came to 60,032 units in 2007, up 73.7 percent. Sales in Australia amounted to 148,813 units, it added. No comparative figures were given. General Motors, which competes with the likes of Volkswagen AG in the region, did not give a sales forecast for 2008, but Nick Reilly, GM Asia Pacific president, said his company would continue to launch new models and expand capacity.
  14. Don't be afraid "I know the magic words". :AH-HA_wink: I haven't forgotten after all, I suffered though, Roger Smith, Bob Stemple and Ron Zarella and his hair brained version of brand management. I have been part of more GM divisions than I care to count (GMAD, LAD, BOC, T&B), just to name a few. My warning is what it is, a warning that GM should not be sidetracked from it's primary goal of making 1st class transportation for the greatest amount of people, and not to be swayed by the few to make this or that, (EG: SixtyEight and his RWD 1930's version of GM), In other words, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
  15. I wasn't near it I swear! I was thousands of miles away, that day. Honest!
  16. Here's something that might scare you! Don't be afraid, I will be with you. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m301...180/ai_68535982
  17. I don't mean to trample down you spirit, but did you notice who Chris Gubbey (Holden's MD) reports to now?
  18. As I said, the assimilation begins. I take no particular glee in that, other than the fact there is only one GM. GM needed unity, it was a conflicted organization. With this perhaps there will be a single direction now.
  19. Not even hairy ones?
  20. That may have been, but not this time.
  21. RWD Chevy Chevettes for everyone. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. Why that will be me! You know I never kiss and tell. All I can say is keep watching!
