  1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. or One man's trash is another man's treasure. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Well I have a feeling it will be Chevy. The last time I was in OZ, I can't tell you how many Chevy bowties on Holdens I saw there. To many to count that's for sure. Besides where will they go to, Toyota? That would be like Camino driving a Celica. Just won't happen. :AH-HA_wink:
  3. What a FWD Zeta? Hey that may be a good idea! Anyway this vehicle looks like a Theta to me.
  4. I am only mild mannered GM employee PCS by day, but when you need someone more powerful than a supercharged Holden Barina, faster than a speeding Holden Viva, and able to leap over small Kangaroos in a single bound. I then become Holden Man, (insert Superman theme here) I stand for Truth, Justice and the Australian way! See pic below!
  5. Oh I know where it's sourced from, I just heard a rumor. That's all.
  6. Here are two pics of the Chevy Colorado. The 1st pic is of a current 2008 American Chevy Colorado, the 2nd pic is of a Chevy Colorado which is somewhat different from the 1st and, notice which side the steering wheel is on! It looks like it's ready to replace the Holden Rodeo. Odd very odd.
  7. Don't let blu see it! He said earlier he was having vivid dreams. :rotflmao:
  8. No, that's the future of Holden! :AH-HA_wink:
  9. Minus a few chin hairs, of course!
  10. Alex, I would like to answer the question for $200. Who is GM Powertrain Europe?
  11. I have no words! :rotflmao:
  12. We’ve just got the latest spy photos of the up-and-coming Cadillac BRX crossover, and it looks like we were right - the resemblance between this future luxury sport-utility and the recent Provoq concept are uncanny. So how’s this a Caddy and not a Chevy (Equinox)? We’re seeing a character line down the side of the prototype that starts high at the C-pillar, and runs lower as it progresses towards the front fenders. Also notice the window line that’s outlined in chrome; a similar treatment adorns the new CTS‘ window frames as well. Headlamps appear to be stacked in Cadillac’s “new traditional” style; likewise, we can somewhat see a very sharp edge for the taillamps - another Caddy cue. 13. Hmmmm, that's odd. Lutz won't talk to Winding Road about the Pontiac Sport Truck, I wonder why? Link: http://news.windingroad.com/etc/lutz-no-ho...-for-us-market/
  14. Looks like a SixtyEight family hauler to me! Oh wait is that a B pillar I see?
  15. You are most welcome!
  16. I know most of this, I have been in OZ many times. I find the people there exactly as you say, sad but true!
  17. Don't you mean a donkey pulling an olive cart?
  18. Many thanks to Anton, an Autoblog reader from Down Under, who was kind enough to grab a couple of snapshots showing us one of the Queensland Police Department's new highway patrol cars. We've reported on Toyota Australia's TRD Aurion before -- it's basically the Camry we want but can't have. With a much better-looking face and 323 supercharged horses underhood, the Aussie-built sedan is inherently more appealing than the vanillamobile available at our local Toyota stores. And now the fuzz has them, too. Earlier this month, the Queensland police welcomed some of the "regular" Aurions into its white-liveried standard fleet. Our new friend Anton noticed a TRD Aurion dressed in the red finish used by the highway patrol. Curious, he followed it back to the station and talked up the officers there to get their opinion on their new interceptor. The verdict is that the TRD Aurion has as much punch as the older V8-powered FPV Falcons and Holden Monaros, and it is the clear winner in terms of interior comfort. Its front-wheel-drive configuration took some getting used to, however. The RWD pursuit cars could power through corners, and any oversteer incurred could be easily corrected from the driver's seat. The officers say that the Aurion's tendency to torque steer forced them to adjust their driving technique.According to them, hammering the throttle mid-corner doesn't do much at all, and the the car plows straight ahead. Solution: they don't do that anymore, and they're apparently "overjoyed" with their new toys, which, as Anton puts it, "go like the clappers." Thanks for the TRD pursuit car shots, Anton! 19. Your information is wrong and outdated, things have moved on from there so fast that it would make your head spin. Oh an Isuzu will have no part in this what so ever. They are persona non-grata, since they have become so Toyota friendly. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. You are right about one thing, Chevrolet is coming and in a huge way. Camaro is just the tip of the iceberg. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. I would suggest a logo change from "PONTIAC IS CAR" to "PONTIAC IS DEAD". Just a thought.
  22. Threw them a life preserver or just a line? :AH-HA_wink: Just take the Holden off the Holden Captiva and replace it with Chevrolet, that might be the smarter plan.
  23. You really need to start dating!
  24. One by one the Zeta cars will be shut down by GMNA, except maybe the ones built in North America for the life of the current UAW & CAW contracts. GMNA could pick up production for the whole world that still uses what's left of Zeta program. :AH-HA_wink: Shut Holden out of any Alpha production, then it's (Fate Accompli), no reason for Holden to exist, without Zeta and Alpha production. When that happens, and it seems to be going that way, there will be many happy people in North America and Europe. Let's see, first there would be me , then Cadillac, GME, Chevrolet, CAW and UAW, just to name a few.
  25. Some practice. :AH-HA_wink: Je mange de la poutine. Tu manges de la poutine. Il/Elle/On mange de la poutine. Nous mangeons de la poutine. Vous mangez de la poutine. Ils/Elles mangent de la poutine.
