  1. I think if you would have asked nicely, she would have given you a little dessert.
  2. I'm still on my quest for a 1968 Pontiac Grand Prix!
  3. Halloween
  4. I would if I were you, dealerships know people window shop when they are closed. Tell them you were window shopping, which isn't a lie now is it?
  5. You can buy the GM Chicklets at any GM parts dealership store for about 3 bucks, all you have to do is remove the tape on the back and adhere them to the Vibe yourself. Mrs. PCS told me just yesterday on the phone that when we return to the USA she would like to have an AWD Vibe. God I sure hope the HHR has an AWD model out by then. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. Be careful, they, would be the common folk!
  7. Very true, I'm not an elitist! :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Congrats, I'm sure to most it seems like I've been here forever!
  9. Well it's a GM car forum, the whole purpose of it, is to socialize, as you put it, or interact and with other people. How else are the yougins (Texas term for youth) going to learn about the automotive past if it's not from old goats like you and I? Hmmmmmm? :AH-HA_wink:
  10. Again we agree! :AH-HA_wink: He seems to have issues with teenagers too.

  12. Psssst, Hey buddy, Saturn and Vauxhall only exist on paper, in reality they are nothing more than shell companies that GM moves product through! :AH-HA_wink:
  13. Please Camino, just say the word, I do have an EU passport (Bundesrepublik Deutschland), It would be a piece of cake to enter the UK! :rotflmao:
  14. In 1973 I was 4 years old, A war raged in Asia, gas prices were sky high (for that time), the Republican president at that time was very disliked by the world. Today, I will be 39 in 1 month, a war rages in Asia, gas prices are sky high, the Republican president is very disliked by the world as a whole, It's 1973 all over again. To bring you closer to that time, and experience a car from my childhood, let me link you to a site that remembers the 1973 Pontiac Grand Am Colonnade. Check out the videos at that time, my parents were watching the Edgar Winter Group in1973, I was watching Sesame Street with Little Stevie Wonder. 15. I'm sure now that you getting ready to go into college that you can somewhat read and comprehend what you're reading, at least I hope that you can! As I said to 68, and I will repeat it once again to you, that is your perception, the buying public however thinks otherwise or the Impala and all the W's would have died long ago. GM is not in business to make vehicles that no one buys, and the W's sold, just like the Impala is still doing today. I'm not exactly holding my breath waiting on you to buy a brand new GM anything, in fact I'm most sure I will be retired from GM long before that ever happens.
  16. With the potential of a BMW/GM engine deal in the works, I really would like to see more cooperation between BMW and GM to the point where BMW becomes a strategic partner of GM. Having my favorite two auto makers working together makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
  17. Is there an EP II or Astra in your future reg? If so, we welcome you to the GME family! :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Just because you don't like the drive wheel or the styling doesn't make them trash, if fact over all, they have served GM and the consumer well. They are reliable and dependable which is why the Impala is selling so well to this day. Really 68, your view of GM is as old and outdated as the cars you buy. B pillars for everyone! :AH-HA_wink:
  19. Here is what I saw on the street not to long ago.
  20. I'm not one of the sheep, although at times I dress like one.
  21. Because GME is the tail that wags the GM dog!
  22. ocnblu, sometimes a tail light is just a tail light! :rotflmao:
  23. Poor you buddy, I witnessed something like that in Wilmington, when I 1st arrived there. Some A-Hole on a Motorcycle ran down some old woman as she was crossing the street with her dog. She was in very bad shape when they took her away, I don't even know if she survived and they never found her dog as it ran off injured. To this day I can replay what happened in my mind and it still bothers me.
