  1. Now that teaser shot does look decent! (Thank goodness, a Buick in a color different from the Enclave brown and Century silver !)
  2. Here's the hot news about Buick's future! Click here.
  3. The August 25th issue of Automotive News has a special report about General Motors' future product plans. Can someone who is a subscriber (ehaase, maybe) tell us what is in store for Buick (and Pontiac)? Thank you.
  4. Joe Biden
  5. Herve Villechaize
  6. dopey
  7. I see the GM on the license plate, and it reminds me of a Fiero or some sort of Pontiac... but with Saturn-style headlights.
  8. dancer (The Golddiggers on "The Dean Martin Show")
  9. stinker
  10. avant1963: Thank you for sharing those neat ads! From the days when "radio," "heater," and "whitewall tires" were selling points.
  11. Pontiac Custom-S: Thank you for sharing those pictures from Jimmy. I read someplace that the Cruze unveiled in Lordstown was made of "foam." If correct, what exactly does that mean? It looks "real."
  12. If you're speaking of stories from the press, I think it should match the original title - that way it helps eliminate double-posting. Also, I strongly believe that no one should re-title stories with their own opinion/slant to the headline. And I also strongly object to a few select recent examples that were misleading - look in the Buick section.
  13. I have a soul patch/goatee but if I let it get messy, it gets itchy. I just got my haircut two days ago and was thinking of shaving the soul patch/goatee off.
  14. McDonalds Iced Coffee
  15. That would be very interesting; I can't imagine them walking away from "CTS," for example, nor can I see them returning to "Eldorado," to name but one.
  16. What? They found a big foot? What about his big ----
  17. Did she say, "No but it makes your < slide whistle sound effect > look fat!
  18. What's it like inside a Buick dealership in China. For one view, read this story prepared by The Detroit News. Click here.
  19. Perhaps the Cadillac would be the useless Lambda and shouldn't be done, since Buick's is successful and competitive and being exported to China.
  20. Maybe GM can just keep showing concept cars and little teaser shots of vehicles that won't be ready for 2 or 3 years. Good luck.
  21. Might as well shutter all of GM, for it no longer seems to be able to function competitively. It's not really GM without the core divisions that helped make it an American institution.
  22. Thank you for sharing those beautiful images, a part of GM's history! Were those Firebirds Pontiacs or generic GMs? I don't remember ever seeing that '59 Cadillac Cyclone concept. How about the name "Buick Centurion"; if some think "Century" is tarnished, how about "Centurion"? Why were a couple of the cars, including the '55 Chevrolet Biscayne, seemingly unrestored? (Are they new additions to the Motorama collection, or did money run out there, too?) A Cadillac, rather than Pontiac, LeMans? (So there might have been a precedent for calling the Pontiac G8 ST an "El Camino"?) And what's with the popped hood on the Buick Y-Job? Are they trying to match it to the popped hood on the recent silver LaCrosse spy photo?
  23. Then you need to trade yours for a new Invicta! :AH-HA_wink:
  24. darn it, anyhow!
  25. What I was getting at was that, if I understood correctly, Oldsmoboi claimed that either Century or Regal was tarnished and therefore couldn't (shouldn't) be used. Regal is still a current Buick in China - so I wouldn't consider that tarnished. And Century was just identified in some poll as one of the most reliable or whatever, so that, presumably, should't be considered tarnished. Unless it's on the basis that Buicks were / are supposed to be for old people... thus the dropping of the longtime name LeSabre, too.
