  1. San Diego is very nice indeed! I forgot about it.
  2. I have to honestly say the ONLY time I have ever thought about drive wheels when I was driving was when I was driving a bus. I want the rock thread BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!
  3. Philly was HORRID!!! When I was there. Even their airport was horrible. If you want to throw a smaller city into the Honorable Mention category: Des Moines, IA is pretty sweet for being basically in the middle of nowhere.
  4. I have traveled to many many cities in America and I am just curious to see what everybody thinks is the greatest city in America. Here are the rules: 1) You must pick a city outside of the state you live in if you have traveled out of the state you live in. 2) If you wish, you may also pick a city inside of the state you live in if you really think it is worthy as well. 3) Optional - Pit the two choices against each other for fun. So here are my picks: 1) Phoenix -- It's dry, hot, new, fresh, and has hot women. 2) Los Angeles -- Because even if there are many cities around it, LA is all encompassing. Entertainment, Beaches, Theme Parks, and lots of different people to watch. 3) If only there was a way to meld Phoenix and LA together and subtract the smog. I wish the electric car would get here faster because there is some scenic views from both of those cities that gets bogged down by all the car exhaust.
  5. I tried to find that thread "Ultimate Sadness" and was unsuccessful. It's funny because I was the instigator of that thread. How do we find that thread?
  6. *BUMP* hehe
  7. I like the broken door handle thread!
  8. Sometimes people equate time consuming to difficulty, at least I think there is a certain correlation. Everything they do takes time. Making pasta, making stock, making sauce.
  9. Two things: 1) I saw one, it looks lame. 2) When I hear Venza, I cringe because it is a horrible sounding name.
  10. It just amazes me how they are model corporate citizens in Japan with their labor unions and such and when they build cars here, they stay away from equal pay and unions like the plague.
  11. Our friends own an Italian restaurant here and they are very authentic. Since she is from Parma, all the food is from that region and EVERYTHING is made from scratch. They even roast the pumpkin and puree it for the pumpkin tortelli. (Which I understand is not very easy)
  12. Coffee. . . ehhh . . . Just read the signature. . . One word BAWLS!
  13. I love HOT HOT HOT food too.
  14. What is your definition of authentic Italian?
  15. GMPartsGirl... CALL your power company!!!! Get a claim form from them. When we had a power surge here in CA, PG&E replaced the computer in our oven because of a power surge. It's worth a shot. . .
  16. I never got to try Quaker Steak and Lube, but I wanted to. I don't mind if this thread is about restaurants that you miss and don't have easy access to anymore.
  17. Ford Edge Looks great except for the ribs that wrap around the whole car.
  18. There was this billboard just north of Fresno in Madera for this place called Oasis. They used to have "nut tasting" there. Always made us laugh when we would read the sign. Gutterminds. Fresno is just a little slice of Kansas, only we have irrigation here instead of just waiting for rain. Oh and no BW3s.
  19. Health food is not something that is popular in Fresno. Tofu also makes men's breasts grow and other strange stuff.
  20. are there any restaurants out there that are not in your town that you wish were in your town?
  21. I love chicken wings. When I used to travel extensively for work, my friends turned me onto BW3s as they called it. Sometimes, it would get so crazy that we would eat 5 dinners a week at the place because it had all the young man's staple foods: wings beer onion rings salad I wish somebody would build one in Fresno.
  22. I knew it was going to be the Camaro, but I hadn't seen any photos yet. It looks nice, but I think the sharp lines in the paint are a little overdone. I do like the special lights in the back of the car.
  23. I don't exactly agree with Pelosi very much either. She does not portray herself as a very smart person.
  24. Dodgefan. . . FTW!!!! that made me laugh really hard (no offense 68)
