This makes no sense at all. If people don't know what wheels are pushing/pulling their cars, they will CERTAINLY not understand this "hocus pocus" -
I don't know if GM is leasing anything else besides Cadillacs right now. I would that that Pontiacs would not be leased because of the resale value hit they are going to take.
