  1. PACCAR, who owns Peterbilt and Kenworth is a huge customer of Caterpillar. These trucks make no sense.
  2. Somebody I work with keeps getting XP Anti-virus installed on his computer. He claims all he does is get email with his computer . . .
  3. Um, this is easy. Chevrolet Impala, Toyota Camary, Honda Accord, Volkswagen Beetle, Ford F-Series
  4. My mother and her boyfriend just saw Michael Bolton, at her request, live in concert at the Table Mountain Casino.
  5. I remember reading about how he used to keep a piece of legal pad paper in his suit pocket with the names of the plants he would have to close if things didn't get better at GM. I always felt like he was a "fall-guy" and very talented.
  6. That's cool, you won't be competition when I DO have the money to pursue the purchase of one. The polarity of the car is one of the things that makes it special. I would not be buying the car for power. It is unique. The motor may be a failure, but it is a conversation piece.
  7. The seller is a guy I wish would come join C&G so we could talk about all his cool Cadillacs.
  8. MOST ADVANCED W-BODY EVER!!!!!!!!!!
  9. White Diamond is the best color ever.
  10. Welcome everybody! Nice to see to fellow GM fans ready to chew the fat!
  11. Even the seats in the Elegante trim were waaayy more sporty than regular.
  12. Yeah that guy indicates he is a serious Cadillac collector. The Elegante was the top top of the line for 85.
  13. If only I had the resources. . . 1985 Cadillac Seville Elegante
  14. Honesty is always refreshing. I'm just glad the honest ones are in a position of authority to give honest answers.
  15. Jalopnik says 100,000 people needed to get El Camino back Now if only I knew how to comment on their damn site!
  16. A lot of the GM Fleet sales were Commercial sales, not to Daily Rental Fleets.
  17. See I was aiming the comment about accessibility assuming this is the only model. I know right now that there are accessible taxis in NYC. I'm sure a certain percentage have to be. Also, the Turkish company was going to use Union American labor for assembly. I would still have pissed on Ford for not building them in the US.

  19. Couple of things: 1) No Wheelchair access = automatic lawsuit. 2) Thanks NYC for trying to be the super patriotic city then going with Nissan who is using cheap Mexican labor to build the "van" 3) All that electronic gizmo crap will break quickly and won't be repaired = waste of money. 4) 10 year contract is absurd. No public enteity should be able to sign a purchasing contract that will last that long. Plus, I'm guessing there will be another 10 year option after the first few years that NYC can pick up if they are happy lazy. This is going to get interesting when purveyors hate these things and cant get anything else.
  20. Anybody who has spent 3 minutes at that site knows it is not worth returning to.
  21. There is a difference between suede and Alcantara. From Wikipedia:
  22. RJION, Extremely impressed!!!
  23. Many of these seats are brand name but often they are not noted. Same on wheels and other parts. I remember the wheels on my Inlaws old town car were OZ Racing but it was only on the back of the wheel. Top Suppliers often don't get a tag or label. Exactly. I was just going to say that OEMs usually aren't designing seats. It is companies like TRW and Recaro etc that do it.
  24. So are you not teaching anymore? What is Fire Police?
