LOL @ Reg. I agree with a few of the opinions voiced already. The interior color combination could be better and the exterior color is ho-hum for me.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. IMO, this is the all-around BEST vehicle in GM's lineup. The exterior is classy and luxurious. The interior is well designed and equally luxurious. This is not a home run but a grand slam. The designers should be very proud of what they have accomplished. Buick will sell every one of them. The Lambdas and GMT900s are amazing, end of story. I just wish GM would be this type of effort into its cars.

Uh...please stop being so damn PC. I hate it. If Bob has had bad experiences with lesbians and wants to tell some stories no one should have any problem with it. If Bob doesn't like lesbians and wants to tell us no one should have any problem with it. He has every right in the world to share his experiences and opinions without people jumping on his back about them. If you're too immature to handle it do not come to theads like this. Your knee-jerk, utopia-yearning post was tiring at best. On the subject of the thread, I believe lesbians get very insecure whenever there are men around. I think this goes beyond lesbians to anyone woman who wants to go out in the street and burn her bra. They feel no need for men in their lives and they treat men like trash. They get away with it, too. Men are no longer allowed to give it back to them because it's "sexual harassment" or basic "harassment." I also feel no excitement watching two or more women kiss or otherwise go at it. Not a turn on, IMO.

My 18th birthday was one of the worst days of my life. Thank God my ex-girlfriend and her parents were understanding and tried to make the best of a really bad situation. So my advice is to (try to) have a good time whatever you do. Bowling is cool. How about going to a club? Kind of cheezy but you'll remember your first time.

That looks pretty cool. The wood is beautiful.

My big thing is an iPod, black, with extended warranty and FM transmitter/car adapter. It sucks that I have to follow the crowd and get an iPod instead of a different MP3 make/model but I have read tons of reviews and it comes out on top in almost every one. It's odd that no one, even Microsoft, can build something better. Other than the iPod I have a list of CDs and books. I remember looking through the JCPenney Christmas book when it came each year and circling what I wanted. For the past few years the Christmas tree has been pretty bare because there are no huge toys underneath it. My Christmas shopping was done entirely online this year. I guess it doesn't hurt to only have my parents to buy for. They're getting clothes - someone needs to keep them looking stylish.

Croc, you crack me up. :AH-HA_wink: Thanks, Razor, for that information about Trans-Siberian. I'm really looking forward to the show.

Now that it's after Thanksgiving (in the U.S. and Canada) I can start talking about Christmas and everything that comes along with it: decorating, cookies, parties, gifts, snow (hopefully), etc. I think I've learned this rule from my parents who have followed it to the 'T.' A local radio station began playing an all-Christmas playlist about two weeks ago, I believe, and that got my thinking about Christmas songs. I downloaded a bunch yesterday in my spare time and now I have a question for my fellow C&Gers. What is your favorite Christmas song? Personally, I like "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo" by Trans Siberian Orchestra, "Where Are You Christmas?" by Faith Hill and "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, both modern non-traditional songs. I'll be seeing Trans Siberian for the first time next month in Philly so if anyone here has seen the group before what should I expect?

Happy Black Friday birthday!

Now that's what I'm talking about. A classy two-tone that adds to the interior, not take away from it.

My local Saturn dealership looks pretty nice from the outside. At night, when the interior lights are on and you can see through the windows, the decor does not look like it belongs in a typical middle-class car dealership, IMO. I've never actually been in one, though.
-
Not that I should butt in here but because it is Thanksgiving I was wondering if your brother forgot to ask his fiancee to invite you? Whatever the answer, have fun. On another note, it seems Yellowtail is really popular now for some reason. My parents were just talking about getting a bottle. I didn't know the boycott of France caught on that much.

Happy birthday!

Enclave and, somewhat surprisingly, the new Platinum Caddys because they are a surpruse to me and I thought the last-gen Platinum Escalade was pretty cool.
-
Could have fooled me. By the looks of both company's products it would seem they have already joined forces.

My family will be holding Thanksgiving for what may be the first time ever. We usually hold Christmas at our house for the extended family but due to little kids and family moving out of state plans have changed. I am cooking corn muffins, real cranberry sauce (not the stuff in the can), mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. I don't mind cooking, if you couldn't tell. Edit: Happy Thanksgiving, too!

Livery companies will love this thing and, I admit, they have good reason, too. The stretch looks better than the standard version. Where are all the fat C-pillar haters, though?

If people are willing to pay why not offer them?
-
Thanks for doing that. It looks much better, IMO.

Took the words right out of my mouth. The two-tone is tacky, IMO, even though I am sure black/gray or tan/brown would look much better. The dash design is nice, especially with the sweeping curves, but the rest is average. The center stack, door panels and center console are average. A gated shifter would look great, IMO, more upscale. It may not appear that the Malibu and Aura share many parts but if you look closely you can see the basic foundation. Of the interior photos posted on the thread, I would rate the Accord, Mazda, VW and Camry as better than this. The Accord still looks better than this after how many years on the market? That says a lot. NAV, Bluetooth and dual-zone climate control must be offered at launch. There is no excuse for not offering these features when competitors do. I think the two-tone is the biggest drawback and is affecting my opinion on the rest of the interior. I would like something a little more low key. This combination does not match the exterior spy shots we have seen, IMO. They show a classy, conservative yet sporty design and this does not go with the theme. The SKY, GMT900 and Lambda interiors are simply amazing and beautiful so why is GM holding back?

Happy birthday, guys!

The interior looks nice, a great upgrade from the current-gen. I think the press photos make the exterior look better, however. I'm not criticizing your pictures, Ted, just saying it looks worse in person to me.

In my mind RWD BOF V8 does not make a minivan. If you believe it is then the Savana is all GMC needs. I believe GMC does not need a traditional minivan, a Sienna/Odyssey clone, especially because it has the opportunity to steal sales from the Acadia. The Acadia can be GMC's minivan, IMO. The only thing it is lacking is sliding doors. Chevy obviously needs a minivan. We can all argue about Buick having one but I believe Saturn would benefit the most from having one and it would have higher sales than a Buick minivan. Chevy can battle the Dodge and Nissan vans, Saturn can go up against the ones with better reputation/higher luxury quotient (Sienna, Odyssey, T&C).

The exterior is nice and the interior appears to be nice (especially with the NAV) but fail to see why this and the Equinox are needed. If I have it right, the Captiva is smaller than the 'Nox but has a third row. Just doesn't make much sense to me.
