  1. Perhaps it's because DCX must keep the factories humming? I would think the two extra and unneccesary engines would add more expense then they'd make up for.
  2. This announcement seems to come every year.
  3. That's the main difference between Americans and the rest of the world. Generally, as a people, we'd rather take care of ourselves and wish everyone else butt out. The rest of the world would rather rely on government to take care of them and their problems.
  4. If I recall correctly, the Scion president said the division would put a lid on its sales because it was becoming too big. The brand's marketing/business strategy is to be a small player in the industry. The local Toyota dealership (#1 in PA) had very little in the way of Scions on its lot the past few weeks. In the past it has had a couple of each vehicle. It seems we always go through this every month: "If it weren't for Toyota's new vehicles sales wouldn't be so good." Obviously. That's the way the industry works, new vehicles almost always sell well. It's like GM: without the new GMT900s, would there be any really bright spots?
  5. The fronts of both look good. The Dodge is a lot softer than I expected it to be. The sides and back end look like they were ripped off from Kia/Hyundai. I know there is little room for different designs in the minivan world but come on, Nissan can do it. The interiors look average at best. The design is definately below average though DCX is trying to make up for it by offering great features like the Swivel 'N Go (GREAT idea) and lighting (everyone should look at that picture, one of the links a fellow member posted). Overall, I'm impressed with the features. Not so much with the design. I'd still take the Quest, Down Syndrome and all.
  6. I don't like it. The VUE is too classy a vehicle to tack on ground effects and make it look mean. The new Sentra has this problem, too, IMO. The current VUE RL is nice, though. It looks the part.
  7. I like it, too. Does anyone have sales figures for it? Is it doing well?
  8. I think it's percentage of the public that trusts or admires those brands.
  9. Love going in NM stores...even though I can only afford a pair of socks. Good marketing from Toyota. I like the color.
  10. My dad may like this promo.
  11. I hear you, 76. I missed this thread when it was originally posted so instead of telling you to go with the Navy like I would have if the military allowed asmatic, single kidney freaks to join. Too much of a liability, apparently. Anyway, good luck and enjoy your time. A big thanks for serving.
  12. Is that a new Christmas toy, 76?
  13. At least they beat the Cowboys last week. How horrible.
  14. Nice to, um, see you, Red. I can't believe BV hasn't been here yet.
  15. People waiting for the next-gen?
  16. Thanks for setting me straight.
  17. I agree. But you may be alluding to something. Should we plan to be surprised once we see the interiors of these vans?
  18. I'll take a Quest, please.
  19. Fusion, Milan and MKZ sales totalled just 211,469 for the entire year?
  20. I really like the Nassau.
  21. I agree though it will only affect those seeking upper range Malibus. GM does not have one mainstream midsize car while almost the rest of the competition offers at least one of those features.
  22. Still not a fan of the back end. I think it loses the drama and in-your-face attitude of the front-half of the car.
  23. Looks like someone (whether it is a chop or not) gained some design inspiration from the Avalon.
