  1. I'm growing tired of the same (or almost the same) corporate radio/HVAC controls in every single vehicle made by GM, Ford and Chrysler. It's not just the fact they're the same buttons and knobs, there's also the same surround (which is a ton of plastic) and basic design to deal with, too. Insert radio controls here -------> Insert HVAC controls here -----------> I know it's to cut down on costs but it's really irritating, especially in Fords and Chryslers. At least GM has some differential between models and designs whereas the same design and controls in the 300 are the same as the new Dodge wagon/car/thing (having a brain fart).
  2. :puke: :puke: Did the Matrix, Prius and Civic have a threesome? Hopefully this is one reason Chinese vehicles never catch on.

  5. How does Toyota lie outright? I don't even think I've seen much marketing done for the Highlander Hybrid to see those nasty evil "lies." More power and better fuel economy over the normally aspirated Highlander seems good to me.
  6. I'd like to, also but this article is reporting retail market share, not combined fleet/retail.
  7. Thanks for a normal review, SDB1.

  12. I know how I can make you happy, bv. For a few minutes, at least. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. It just doesn't work for me.
  14. Just to clarify, that figure is in Canadian dollars.
  15. The Aura would be flying off the lots with that interior even if its exterior styling is watered down from the concept. I'm sure GM could simplify it a bit if it's hard to use like some have pointed out. Otherwise, there's no contest.
  16. Usually Honda commercials have a white background, they show the car and there's some weird voiceover. Absolutely nothing to draw you in or get your attention. Recently they've been showing some actual advertising with the Ridgeline and Civic.

  18. Raider, Commander, R-Class, Passat (though it's a beautiful car), next-gen Golf (base on the pictures I've seen)...I can't remember any more. I've seen one new DTS so far, which isn't good. I've been seeing plenty of new Explorers, though. How much is Ford discounting them?
  19. I saw the plane and thought you were being funny. Then, I saw the Cobalt.
  20. I don't post on GMI, never been there, so I didn't know that happened. I'm guessing C&G does it return just because...it is petty on GMI's part.
  21. 26? Wow...there are a lot of people on here that seem older for some reason. Not making fun of you or anything, sixty, I'm just surprised.
  22. Hybrid HHR (love the HHHR), 2-door HHR, 2-door HHR Convertible, HHR ute... GM should keep updating and adding HHR styles, sort of what BMW plans for the next MINI. DCX really failed to capitalize on the PT's success, if you think about it. Sure the sold and they continue to sell but they could have sold much more by introducing more variants. The Element with body-colored panels looks worse than the normal verison. Usually it's the other way around for me but like Satty said, something's missing from it.
  23. Haven't seen the commercial yet but Honda is #1 on my list of car companies with the WORST commercials.
  24. Everyone could use it.
