  1. Rumor has it a small SUV (as in prev-gen Rav4) will be given to either Toyota or Scion. Toyota really does need a truely small SUV. Edit: spelling.
  2. I doubt there will be any major problems with this as it looks good, has a nice interior and the performance needed in the entry-level class. I wouldn't buy one because it's way too popular. It's the "gotta have" car for anyone that has a little money.
  3. I disagree. The Lucerne is very competitive and classy. The interior styling may not look great, mainly because of the now-tiring GM corporate center stack design, but the materials are there. The Lucerne is definately competitive in its class and the early reviews are proof of that.
  4. I can't find anything searching Google News on this under the keywords "Rick Wagoner" and "Rick Wagoner pension" so I believe this is either a sick hoax, wishful thinking, really late-breaking news or an article written for the future.
  5. I don't think I've laughed harder at a C&G thread...

  9. I'm liking the exterior design but the interior looks too busy. This thing will sell a lot more than the prev-gen Rav4. It looks better, handles better, has more power and is now the right size. I can't believe Toyota put 18" wheels on the sport edition.
  10. Damn this is hard... GM: GTO (Lucerne, CTS-V, SSR) Ford: Zephyr (Mustang GT) DCX: Charger SRT8 (300C) Euro: Passat 3.6L (Jaguar S-Type, Audi A4) Asian: IS350 (G35 coupe, GS300)
  11. I'm liking your sig, NOS. Sometimes I'll check if someone's in my back seat. I guess it depends on how I'm feeling. Only a skinny midget would be able to fit underneath my car.
  12. Wow, that's a pretty good deal the dealer gave you, lakefire. I figured I'll take it month-by-month and see how I like it.
  13. LA, are you sure you aren't dealing with me? LOL. I had a feedback score of 1 until yesterday (now it's 2) and 6 of my auctions ended within the past 2 days. The majority of people have paid, luckily. I'm shipping out everything tomorrow. I feel bad it's taken so long but it was Thanksgiving, Black Friday and then the weekend, not the perfect time to try to ship goods via the USPS.
  14. I disagree. The Fusion is a great car for any manufacturer and I think that has been proven by the reviews of both the auto rags and C&G members who test drove it. It is the only domestic car that can actually compete with the Accord and Camry and, as shown by at least one comparison, beats one and comes close to taking the top spot. It is a much more significant entry than a new Civic. It may not be a revolutionary car overall but it is a revolutionary car for the American auto industry and that is significant. Like I tried to point out before, a new Civic is comparable to a new F150 or Corvette. You know it's going to be best in-class because it's the respective manufacture's bread-and-butter, "halo" (in a sense) product. I find there's nothing really significant about that and COTY is supposed to be awarded to significant cars.
  15. I'm not certain but I believe you'll get into some trouble when you have to get the car inspected.
  16. I don't think the well has dried up. Rather, Nissan has redesigned almost all of its products, introduced a couple of new ones, slightly updated a couple of its older newer models (Altima, G35, if you can understand what I'm saying) and has a couple of new products in the pipeline (Senta, small car, Cube, Infiniti Q flagship sedan, Infiniti flagship sports car). I just think Nissan developed their products fast (maybe too fast) and doesn't currently have much to do.
  17. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. The only Buick ad I've seen recently is its Red Tag one. Edit: spelling
  19. Sentras are crap but my dad's Altima isn't bad at all.
  20. I just ordered Sirius today. I was asking for satellite radio it for Christmas but Circuit City has a sale on a certain receiver ($100 off) and Sirius is giving another $50 off so that means a $150 receiver is free. I'm not going to hardwire it to my car because I don't feel like dealing with the problems of doing it myself or paying to have it done professionally, plus I'm asking for the home kit for Christmas now. I'll just do it through FM transmission. I chose Sirius over XM mainly because of the deal on the receiver but I've signed up for free trials for both (on their websites) and Sirius has played a lot more music I like. So what are your opinions on satellite radio? Who has it, what do you think, what company do you have?
  21. I went to the King of Prussia Mall (largest mall on the East Coast) a couple years ago on Black Friday and it may be the last time I do something like that again. It took my 30 minutes to find a parking spot but once in the mall it wasn't that bad, just extremely crowded. I love that place any other time of the year.
  22. There are much more significant entries, IMO. A new Civic is always a big deal because it's usually considered to be one of the best economy cars. It's always better than the last-gen, popular, reliable, well built, etc. An all-new Civic is really nothing new, if you can see where I'm coming from. When was the last time an American manufacturer actually had an all-around credible midsize car? When the Taurus first appeared years ago would be my bet. I would have given COTY to the Fusion and my second choice would be the new IS. I still haven't gotten the latest MT yet so I still need to read the article. I keep getting AW though my subscription ended last month and I didn't renew.
  23. It still looks great, has tons of character and attracts a lot of attention so if it still sells, keep it. It's been paid for hundreds of times over. The supposedly new G wagon is now going to be called something different, I'm guessing because of so much outrage because of the difference in styling and perception between this one and the new one.
  24. Could you elaborate?
  25. Why pick a Civic over a Fusion?
