  1. I saw we need a pic of it surrounded by various Opel cars. To show how truly different it is.
  2. So we know that GM, Chrysler, MB, and BMW all are planning to use this basic design (though tuned differently for each application). Add in Ford and it seems as though GM is willing to sell it to just about anyone except the Asian competition. Which I think is a great move!
  3. Interior is great, except the steering wheel. I don't know why but I just don't like it. Exterior looks good, tail lights are a little Sebring-ish but overall a very nice car.
  4. Is the 159 Epsilon based? Or was that a Fiat that shared Epsilon w/ GM?
  5. That will be a butt kicker. Then how long before a dual-mode CAR? Perhaps the Volt will beat it to market?!

    Turbo Camaro?

GM didn't ever produce ANY factory turbo Camaros. The 2nd gen Turbo Trans Ams and Forumulas used a turbo 4.9 (301) Pontiac V8. While it may have potential there is NO aftermarket and the engine is not very popular. Avoid these like the plague unless you know how to work on them OR have lots of money to pay for someone to work on it. The 1989 Turbo Trans Am used a turbo Buick 3.8 (LC2) w/ FWD Buick heads to clear the lower hood. It is a kick ass car that is worth quite abit of cash and is quite collectible. This is the engine bay of a 1989 3.8 TTA. This is the engine bay of a 4.9 TTA My guess is this car is a hack job and you should avoid it like a rusted Civic. If it does have a 3.8 LC2 or LC4 in it then you may want to pick it up. But remember anytime you pick someone else's project you don't know what has been done to it and you don't know what kind of a mess you are getting yourself into.
  8. Looks great. I would definately like to see this in the US. The Escape my wife and I just bought may have not even have been an option.
  9. Your conversation brings up a good point I hadn't thoght about before. How does the top Corvette going from a 7.0 NA V8 to a 6.2 SC V8 affect the C6R program? I know the C5R ran a 7.0 mill that was production based on the 5.7 found in the standard Corvette but does that mean the C6R goes SC?
  10. Sounds like a Euro Volt. Perhaps PCS wants to chime in on this thread?
  11. But are the parts the standard composite plastic parts?
  12. That was my response.
  13. I was just quoting OC. I thought we were going to play "who's got what?"Apparently he was uninterested.
  14. How do I update my Java script?
  15. Sweet I like this game! :AH-HA_wink: ...I see your GMT800 frame problems and raise you a DOHC V6 sludge problem...
  16. While it does seem as though that is becoming more common, I don't think it will become the norm. With DCs, DOs, NPs, and DPTs either having or gaining PCP status in most states the demand to see your MD for the everyday aches and pains will be dropping and should open the supply of MDs for more directly diagnosed stuff, like a cold or the flu. I also hope that SOMETHING helpful comes out of all the rigamarole of the discussion on healthcare reform during the next presidential elections. But I am not holding my breath. I usually self diagnose and rarely see a MD. Unless I have something really bad and I know it is a viral or bacterial infection I don't bother going in. Since I go to chiropractic school I see an intern once a week, so I don't get any lasting musculoskeletal problems.
  17. How long did it take for the Sludge problem V6s to be recalled? How about the unitended acceleration issues on Lexus cars? How about the air bags going off in Lexus ES cars? Avalon transmission problems?Lets face it, in some respects Toyota does a good job on some things but drags its feet on recalls. And ANY BOF design should be able to support a winch and brush guard w/ no problem.
  18. Off roading is what these were 'designed' to do. If you offroad something designed for it and it breaks then it wasn't designed properly for it.
  19. Haven't seen any issues like this w/ the H3.
  20. WOW! Just WOW. I think this could be game changing stuff. If it beats others to market.
  21. I don't really know where to put this but it occurs to me that the Vibe, while cheap, doesn't really fit w/ Pontiac as a whole. Nor does it lead its class in any area. Instead of GM using the next Vibe at the NUMMI plant they should have chosen to utilize a different Toyota base car for its GM counterpart. I thought about what Toyota offers that GM doesn't and while there isn't much I think GM should use the Scion Tc for a base for the next Pontiac G5. The reason the G5 was made is that dealers were complaining that they didn't have a compact car to replace the Sunfire. While the Scion Tc is considered a good competitor in its class the G5 isn't even considered by many. Perhaps by GM utilizing Toyota's winning formula w/ the Tc instead of the also ran formula of the Matrix Pontiac's compact could gain some respect in the category. This vehicle could replace the current G5 immediately and possibly stick around until after the RWD Alpha compact car arrives as a lower model. Upon thinking further I may have read this idea elsewhere so I can't take the entire credit/blame, whichever you think it is. Some pics: The rear doesn't need any changes as it already resembles the G6/G5 rear tails. Hack job grill insertion
  22. Can you please host that at like photobucket.com or imageshack.usI can't and haven't EVER been able to view attatchments to the boards. I have mentioned this several times and nobody, the staff, has ever contacted me about it. And I know I am not the only one.
