  1. It is a rear mounted engine so the engine is behind the rear axle. So the engine could not be under the floor. The van, wagon, and pickup variants will have a 'floor' of sorts over the engine with vents along side the engine. If you want something really rare and unique try to find a side ramp pickup they are really cool little trucks. http://www.oldcars.com/car1425.html Some great engine pics http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&h...corvair&spell=1 Should give you an idea of the how and where the engine is mounted. Also notice the flat six is used in aircraft also. There are some great examples in those pictures.
  2. Works fine on my pc with ff. Try going to the forums directly it may work that way.
  3. That front extension has a very Graphyte look to it.
  4. Actually I think the T2x had 2 suicide doors like the RX8 and Ion Quad Coupe.
  5. The V8 will come later. Probably by the time Enclave debuts it will be ready but expect the Saturn to debut first with only a V6 then the Arcadia with V6 first then V8 and Enclave to carry both, probably part of the reason why it is delayed (also to make sure the plant is putting them out with good quality you can't tarnish the Buick reputation for quality.)
  6. Hogans et other inisders. Will a version of this Theta be coming to the states?
  7. BLS, my bad on that. To make up for it here is a photo
  8. All the design work for the 1990 Fiero was actually completed in 1985. There is a grainy low quality video floating around various places that has engineers and designers talking about and showing off the Fiero Concept and what new features it had. It would be a neat thing to own or see (if it showed up on the net instead of having to buy off of ebay.)
  9. Think of it as a small sporty SUV coupe. I personally think it rocks. B)
  10. That is the only mainstream brand without an Epsilon besides Caddy, which has the BTS but we have been told it won't make it to the states this go round.
  11. I love the quote about why the GM80 'drone' is running around. "So Jim Dunne will continue to take pictures of it."
  12. GhostDog, The best case senario is for GME to update and merge Delta and the updated T-body to create 1 unified platform that shares the best of both worlds. The Vectra, Europe, is Epsilon based right? That would mean it is basically a SWB Aura which we don't need at Saturn. I place my money on an updated T-body merged with Delta.
  13. The Atlas 6 is like 2 inches longer than the LS1, which will easily fit. The Big Block fits, but engine mounts need to be made. The I6 is rather tall but no taller than the LQ4 truck 6.0L. As you can tell I have thought about this swap as well as a turbo I6 in a 3rd gen Camaro.
  14. Chevy and I am wanting to say Pontiac are supposed to have Lambda vans.
  15. I know it is a duh  but it is good to read.
  16. Just a thought, though a dissapointing one, the new production Pontiac could be the G3, rebadged new Aveo.
  17. Press releas just confirmed it. http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayServlet...n=2&docid=21427
  18. Northstar great start but lets consider a few things. Number one is that Zeta (more acurately VE) is only going to be around for so long. The Camaro's Chevy based platform has been chosen as a GLOBAL RWD platform ergo it is more important than Zeta. As far as name I would actually count on the Malibu staying FWD on EPII and Impala, typically a larger car and with a closer association to RWD and performance than Malibu, would be the RWD companion to Camaro.
  19. 2.0 T with Direct Injection :o  Man that car is going to rock! Mind if I repost this on CZ28?
  20. I pronouce it VEE-lite. I belive a case can be made for the Velite in limited numbers. The Camaro will be built on a high volume global chassis, one that will replace even VE eventually. Given that Zegma, or whatever you want to call it, will be global and underpin ALL RWD models, except for maybe luxury models on Sigma, I can see a Buick vert being built on it since there will definately be a Buick sedan on this chassis.
  21. Yes, As turbo said AH-HA stated previously that the HF was the standard engine.
  22. I am pretty sure the V8 Aurora's had the 4T80E. The V6s should be the 4T65E. I would think that both are fine.
  23. Along with the 3.6 HF as standard equipment.
