    Good-bye

Not speaking for him simply pointing out something that all can see. His posts here drew attention that he may not have wanted. BM obviously wants his attention. I should hae included the may but I still stand by my assertation.
  2. Since we haven't seen the production Aura's interior I don't think you can make that judgement.
  3. Hmmm...I thought the base V8 case would have already been made. Perhaps it will be a HV V6, HF V6, and V8.

    Good-bye

You see on one his presence on here brought him unwanted attention and on the other any attention he gets is, in his mind, good.
  5. But according to Joe that didn't matter. GM had found out who he was and probably pressured him to step back.
  6. 6.2. and what other V8. What would replace the 5.3? 5.5 maybe?
  7. But they are Americans who spend the money for the car and then add the money for the options. If people are willing to drop the coin, I say build it.
  8. trinacriabob How would you compare the Intrigue to the Lacrosse? Does the 3800 feel the same in both? How does the 3.5 S* compare to the 3.6 HF? Can you comment on ride quality differences between the two?
  9. I will disagree with that because I have seen new DTSs, Lexus GSs, and Grand Marquis with all of those things within the last 6 months.
  10. OK, evok. The only way to convince all of us that Josh is wrong is to give us the down low on all the new RWD cars. :AH-HA_wink:
  11. OK, time is up. Camino got the closest with the RC car guess. The car sits in the rotunda at the NCM, National Corvette Museum. It is about 5 ft long and is about 20 feet off the ground, hence the poor photo (I actually held the camera up closer to it and aimed using the screen on the back, all and all it came out nice). I would guess that this was just a one off oversided RC car that someone made. Though it could have been like the Olds Aerotech go cart that was on Ebay a while back. Either way it was pretty cool to see. If you go to the museum it is above the entrance to the rotunda away from the spire.
  12. Infiniti M45 with the 3.5 VQ V6 instead of the 4.5 V8.
  13. Yep. Larger than a model Nope. For a hint search for some of my old posts about a trip I made last Summer.
  14. This is a picture taken at a GM facility. I don't think to many people will be able to identify it, maybe O.C. as I know he has been there. Take your best guesses guys. High Res
  15. 96-01 Audi A4 quattro 00+ Deville DHS or DTS 01+Catera 98+ Grand Prix 98+ Intrigue 01+Impala LS Right now the Intrigue is highest on the list due to cost/features for the dollar and with the 3800 they would be VERY reliable.
  16. Buickman will walk around feeling like the king of the world, for about a day and then start bitching about the new CEO.

    Good-bye

    Long live AH-HA :AH-HA_wink:
  18. So whos contract is up first GM, Ford, or Chrysler? That will set the tone for the other 3. I hope the manufacturers get what they need but realizes that LOTS of people will be affected by this and that they can come through this OK as well.
  19. Maybe, maybe not. BTW thegriffon is the one to ask on this one. You out there buddy?
  20. Josh, do you really want to be on that side of the fence, look at the company? Also you can't compare a small retail store to a manufacturing corporation with a different markets and HUGE product cost differences. If you wanted to compare GE or Boeing's performance to GMs sure but not a small retail front. They aren't even in the same league.
  21. My lips are nowhere but my own face. Lets look at this objectively, OK? There is a board of directors for GM. They approve all major business decisions, selling Suzuki stake or Fuji or EVEN the FIAT deal! Now Rick gets a say in that and sets the direction of the company. He wants higher quality platforms, interiors, and better safety features. There must be money spent to get those programs online and that is what is happening now. Not only that but ALL the cost of the GMT900 push is in there without any profit because of when they went on sale. Also lets not forget that a LOT of Lambda work was in there and so is a huge part of the Delphi bail out.Tell you what Jim, I am not going to change your mind and you aren't going to change mine. Lets just drop this now, OK?
  22. The size of the TT is what saved him. As he was behind the wheels of the semi and in the open area of the trailor he was hit by the bus which pushed him under the semi. If he would have been in a higher riding car or SUV he would have likely been decapitated. Good job with that car Audi, I am sure this will help this guy sell a few more cars. But he seemed rather down to earth about it. Best of luck to him
