  1. First of all the attitude is not needed. I simply said I had read it before which means that other here have also most likely read it. I have read pretty much everything that Guy has posted within the last 2 years, even non car related stuff. That being said if you found it there and posted it here then you should have posted a link directly to the post rather than making it a huge mystery and trying to seem important. It was real car news when it was posted which as you can see was a while ago. I was simply pointing out that this wasn't some new inside line that someone had and that a new insider had not just been born. For your information Guy has actually had a few article published in the likes of PHR, and gotten both good and bad feedback for it from GM. He actually exposed what happened with the 4th gen plant and why it had to close in an article and apparently even though all the information was taken from GM press releases and other public sources GM still didn't like that he connected the dots for so many people. So perhaps instead of trying to build your reputation and Owning people you should just post links when you grab information off the net, OK?
  2. Do you mean his wording is just fine or he is wording it just fine?
  3. Not inaccurate but I have read it previously, I believe it was GuionM from CZ28.com.If you want a read of some of his stuff click here.
  4. I've read it before, a while ago, and I am pretty sure the author will read it here and comment on it.
  5. Any news if there will be another version of the Nitro/Liberty? AKA a Chrysler version of the affor mentioned M80?
  6. What is really funny is that I read the first sentence and was thinking, MAN that is exactly what I wrote and then I saw the {/quote] and figured it out.
  7. The Nitro really excites me. It has a great balanced proportions and a tough rugged look. I hope it will pull in a lot of sales for Dodge, and get them to refresh the Liberty as it is looking a little old. Still hoping for a M80 truck off of this chassis.
  8. I too am expecting big things out of Pontiac, IF Lutz can get the funding for something radical. I am hoping that the poll on GM Fastlane really meant something and that Kappa II will become a versitile reality. I am a man of big dreams I guess. I think the substancial re-fresh was pushed back because it was to close to the launch of EPII and didn't make financial sense. I thought that is what the thread finally sorted out. If GM is going to refresh the current Malibu I say leave the rear end alone as it is not to rough on the eyes, put in a new dash, maybe a copy of the BLS's with the current console, and get some new headlights on the car as they just DON'T fit the car at all, and yes I know that the front fenders and bumper would require change as well. Put something like the Cobalt's lights on there to bring it in line with the rest of the family.

    .....

Rims look pretty good. I am guessing the Denali will end up with the 403 hp 6.2 VVT, DOD engine and the 6 speed auto from the Escalade. Should be quite the Truck. My grandmother may have to trade in her 03 2500 HD 6.0 4x4 Silverado for one.
  10. He likely meant Viable.
  11. The point is that the 9-3 right now IS a viable compact sedan. Now admit you were wrong and lets move on.
  12. That is a great plan but is there anything in the cars like that?Lacrosse is moving to EPII which I am guessing is the size of the currect LWB EPI cars. So how do you make a large compact or small midsize Buick?
  13. So what is the silver one on the right?
  14. Is it wrong that I want to hump that car? I can't tell anymore.
  15. Look up interior and exterior dimensions since that is a better way to rate the size class of a vehicle: Cobalt Mazda 3 Civic SAAB 9-3 Length 180.3 in. 176.7 in. 178.7 in. 182.5 in. 16. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/saab/93/index.htmlYou were saying what about Epsilon SWB being Midsize?
  17. 9-3 and current Malibu's are SWB EP 1s. I am pretty sure the Euro Astra is on the updated old Astra, T body I think, rather than Delta.

And now the Greatest story ever told!!! http://www.shtick.org/Misc/ryans.htm If you can read this without laughing, then you are not human.
  19. So the Daewoo small car is sub-compact or smaller than the Global compact that Opel is developing?
  20. Sounds like a CV joint or something in the steering. Take it to a tire change place and ask them to look at it. They likely won't charge you just to look at it and they can tell you exactly what is wrong.
  21. I have seen that done with a 2001ish GA GT and a Tuned port 350.
