  1. I get more of a current MX5 vibe from that car. Fix the lights and mirrors and it could have been a fun little car.
  2. Fly you gotta go for the Riv. It is SO different than anything on the road, while still being classy and riding like a dream.
  3. Maybe it will be a longer wheelbase version and it will be more a more 'van like' crossover. That could be interesting.
  4. The Suzuki Cara and Daihatsu Copen look pretty cool. The Suzuki has a little flair to it, except for the headlights. Are the new Chinese owned MGs supposed to be in this size group as well or will they be larger?
  5. Would it move up to #1 if it were BOF and RWD? How about if it had a really tiny V8? :AH-HA_wink:
  6. I was curious so I looked up some of these just to see what they looked like.Subaru R2 Subaru R1 Honda Life Toyota Aygo Interestingly enough the Toyota seems to be the looker of the group. thegriffon if you have some pics of the pickups and sports cars or even just model names please post them as I am pretty curious about these.
  7. I can see that. And I actually like that concept a little better.I was also a BIG fan of the Dodge M80 concept. Perhaps GM can put out a super small pickup derivative as well. Something like the Astravan but smaller and with no rear top. It would be a VERY innovative concept. I think you meant to use: :AH-HA_wink:
  8. I kinda like it. Weird but not like the Toyota Yaris. I can't wait to see the others. They would be right up the college student's alley.
  9. Looks nice. Is it based on the smaller FM chassis, G35 sized not M/FX sized. I can't get the larger rear pic to open but from the small picture it seems a little Subbie Tribeca like, though I like that rear I am not sure that others do. If produced would this slot like a G35 wagon?
  10. Well if people want more traditional SUV Caddy does offer the Escalade, EXT, and ESV.
  11. Also I believe the Torana concept didn't use the full length hydroformed frame rails, which is a hallmark of Kappa and the Y-body. Essentially, from what was released, it was a one off that could be the basis for starting a new platform utilizing Kappa suspension and a few pieces. But overall it was all new. Also the Kappa that Custom-S may be talking about may not be the Kappa we all know and love as it is now but may be the revamped Kappa, or Kappa II. But right now this is just an internet pissing match so I will digress and let it return back to that.
  12. Hmm...This is very intersting. Chrysler could become Canadian. And they could have Wolfgang, someone that has a lot of people's respect, there as an advisor. This could prove VERY interesting.
  13. Interesting that you bring up the Atlas 4.2 I6 b/c if I were planning a V12 for GM it would be based off the I6 instead of the 3.6 V6. Sure it would be tall, and large displacement but imagine what an 8.4L Dual VVT, DI Atlas V12 could do!
  14. Or better yet if they want to advertise here they could pay for it.
  15. So are you on the board just to promote that website and their 'giveaways'?
  16. Hmmm...something about this seems familiar. Oh yeah here it is from March 24, 2005. http://www.igorinternational.com/press/det...ming-expert.php A snippet:
  17. I don't think this would be gamma based as some have said. Delta's replacement makes more sense for the size range than Gamma.
  18. A Buick Regal GSX would likely be better fit for you, and would cost less up front and cost less on insurance to boot.
  19. Yeah and GM ain't going to be buying Chrysler. If anyone is going to buy it, it will likely be the Wall Street investment group that was showing intrest.
  20. I am sorry but isn't this the case with EVERY car? Every car I have ever driven, from a 97 Lexus LS to my 84 S10. 04 Denali XL et all. Am I just missing something?
  21. I didn't really read the title and thought it said LS570 and that would mean that Toyota would have stuck the Big 5.7 truck engine into a large lux sedan. I do wonder what kind of power they could get outta it with a different tune. I thought Toyota was going to make a muscle sedan, oh well I should have known better.
  22. Throw a different grill on it and it could be a very nice looking cheap lux sedan. I hope it does well enough to hurt Toyota's sales but not well enough to hurt GMs. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. I like it, but I don't think it would do well in the US market. If it had the 2.8 NA/6 speed autostick or a 3.6 V6/6 speed autostick it may sell decently, but then again I don't know. It would likely make some money but it may drag down the perception of Caddy.Caddy does need something smaller than the CTS. And the STS needs to step up to SLS size or die. It is just to close to the new CTS in size. Also a LWB extra large Zeta car will do well on the upper end. That is really all Caddy needs. All that being said I would like to pick up one up from Mexico as a daily driver if it were legal in the US.
  24. You can believe whatever you want but EVERYTHING I have read about this program has indicated only Ecotec powertrains.
