  1. Back, to back months of GM bucking the trend. While toyota has been down both months. Things are really gooding good.
  2. Not all fleet sales are bad. In fact some are very good. If GM learns where and when to sale to flreet, they can do just fine. But if the statement about their rental fleet sales are up by 24%, that is not very good at all.
  3. It wouldn't take much for sales to be up over any month of 2006. The tundra had fallen to near death in 2006. As others pointed out, the sales are down, and down big over the July 2007 sales.
  4. Looks like maybe all the hype about the tundra topping the GMC was short lived. Let's hope so anyway...... Now if we could see a sustained decline for the next 20 years, we can all be happy.
  5. It sure is starting off on a bad note for GM. Just 72,000 more then toyota now. toyota goes up every freakin month, while GM is all over the place. They have a good month then half a dozen bad ones.
  6. Ford has been out sold by toyota 3 of the last 4 months. It looks to be over for Ford, and now GM is clearly in toyota's crosshairs.
  7. I guess you need to either learn how to read, or at least learn how to comprehend. He said, he felt like slapping, nowhere in his post did he theaten to slap anyone. Lightin up for crying out loud!
  8. WOW! Honda's full sized (Yea right!) pickup fell 33.4% for the month. And it's not even an old model.
  9. Ford was in 4th place in November sales for the first time in history. DC and toyota both beat Ford.
  10. I made this same comment a few month back on another forum, and was chastised for such a comment about toyota.
  11. This makes the second time this year that toyota out sold Ford. Next year will more then likely get really ugly!
  12. I think it would be nearly impossible for that thing too be any fuglier then it is in that picture. It is hideous!
  13. I am not sure, but last month (September!) it was that there was a shortage of those and a few other vehicles, I expect that October had the same problem.
  14. How do you know Nov won't sale 267K this year? Do you know something no one else does?
  15. It didn't take consumers long to forget about high fuel prices GM, and Ford seen huge gains in full size SUV's in October 06. (It's hard to believe that $2.25 a gallon is considered cheap now )
  16. I wonder why they (Media.GM.com) didn't give the breakdown like they always have done in the past! You know, the boxed table of each vehicle, that compares them to last month, and last year.
  17. So GM was trying to sale a 1962 Chevy? I thought it was an ad for the 2007, not 1962. The 2007 was shown for all of 5 seconds out of 65 seconds.
  18. SUV's were off about 25-35 percent last year, and they have continued to fall bad again this year. Not to long ago, the Explorer sold about 450,000 every year. Things sure have changed, and quick to!
  19. I see toyota gave away 12,000 tundra's. I think they are glad to take all the fleet sales that GM didn't want. toyota hardly mentioned the tundra all year due to the fact that sales were down pretty much every month, but once they are able to con 12000 suckers into buying them, they are making headlines again.
  20. GM was down 6.8% while toyota was up 25%, that is not good! I'd be willing to bet that toyota is taking all those fleet sales that GM doesn't seam to want. toyota will take the globil sales crown anyway they can.
  21. WOW! selling an average of 5 vehicles per day for each state is not very good in my book!
  22. It looks better then over at GM, where they had another down month. GM continues too talk about them lowing fleet sales. Who is picking up the slack? toyota?, Ford? Someone has to be reaping the benifit, and if it is toyota, they have to love it.
  23. The Titan is on pace to sale just 66,00-67,000 for the year, (Less then what Ford and GM each does in any given month!) which would be down about 15-20%. I for one find that surprising. I thought they did a pretty good job on a first time real full size truck, but the buyers don't seam to think so. There sales are down on a 3rd year truck more then GM trucks are in there last year of a 8-1/2 year run. (14.6% vs 17.2%) And GM sales are skewed due to last summers huge employee sale.
  24. Must be a little red wagon that he is towing. I have a Duramax, and know of dozens of others with them, and no one gets anything better then 12-15 mpg towing a trailer of alteast 7,000#
  25. When has the GMC had a fancier grille then the Chevy? To me the GMC grille has always been just a over sized semi rectanguler circle, with a little bit of chrome along the outer edge. The Chevy has been the better looking truck forever. With the 03 and 04 being the only time that the GMC was better looking. (And even then, it was very close!) If I were in the market for a new truck now, I'd be waiting until the new Chevy crewcab dually 4X4 came out, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat. That just may be the best looking vehicle to ever grace our presents.
