  1. I'll take 2 please. One in black the other in silver :)
  2. I wouldnt be surprised if there are 2 cars. A 4 door Chevelle to compete against the Charger and a Camaro. Both being built off a the same platform.
  3.
  4. Stole a kids Debit/ATM card and wallet. Kid was naive enough to leave his pin number written on a piece of paper in his wallet to. Long story short, somone is now out 400 bucks in their account. Good news is thanks to ya'll the punks have been caught, and it was a Buick Century from what the Police reported. They caught the guys late this evening at the school the card was stolen at (theives were students to)
  5. Sweet. Thanks guys.
  6. Im thinking its either one of those old Dodge Reliant or an old Pontiac Sunfire. Basically this is a picture from one our security cameras here and I need to see what kind of car this is. Anyone can help me out on this?
  7. Oooh I'm going to send that to my ex-girlfriend since she believes the Mustang is the greatest car to be brought upon mankind and how she hated on my beloved F-body even though she didnt know crap about cars to even begin comparing things.
  8. I agree. The Helton era has brought a ton of discredibilty to the sanctioning body in the last few years. At least in the early 90's the cars were still at least looking like the cars they represented from the manu's. Now we have Toyota entering the fray in the CTS with basically a re-decaled F-150 with an engine design they stole from Dodge (Thank you Bill Davis), Common template cars, and a stupid way to determine the champion. At least this year Stewart won the Cup under the old and new points system. Cliff notes. The whole sanctioning body needs to be drug out in the street and hung by their entrails.
  9. Doubt it. I would imagine GM wants to keep this under wraps for as long as possible to get the most public reaction from the unveiling.
  10. Pretty with a friendly and good personality does it for me. Im a brunette guy myself, but there is a lil dirty blonde across the street from work, that works in the shell station. My lord she is beautiful and funny to boot. Thinking of asking her out soon.
  11. Just to let ya'll chew on this. I think Scott said the chassis the concept will be on will not be the actual chassis the car is actually built on. Its very common for a concept to be sitting on something totally different than what what it will be built on. Also from what I've heard building it on a stretched kappa would be terribley inefficient, a waste of resources, and not feasible.
  12. Heard on the news this morning that his heart actually stopped for a moment. Scary stuff!! As a person with a heart problem I hate to see anyone else have something like this happen :(
  13. Happy Birthday!!

I've often thought about running for public office around here and see where it goes. Then I realize I'd never win cause Im not corrupt enough and I'd be too honest. Thats something that is foreign to Louisiana politics lol. Our problem today is we have politicians in charge and not true represenatives of the people.
  15. Stealth Gray. I love that color.
  16. I've been jamming out to: Alice and Chains, Godsmack, James Brown, Revis, Otis Redding, Amanda Marshall, Shannon Curfman, Weezer, 12 Stones, Disturbed, NIN, Lacuna Coil, and just a bunch of other randome stuff.
  17. Uh oh, who let the Martian creep in!!! :D
  18. My favorite dufus behind the wheel story is about my older sister Robin. Back in highschool, my grandmother gave Robin her 86 Pontiac Grand Prix because my grandmother bought a new Buick Lesabre. 3 days after having the car, she runs to town and goes to the post office and manages to parrallel park without incident. However parking was easy I guess for her, but leaving was a different matter. She goes to back up up some and manages to cut all the way to the right, jump over the side walk and slam into a big ole oak tree stump. She totally bowed in the bumper dead in the center. :D But better yet, the next day she must've decided the front end needed to match the rear, and while at my other grandmothers house, she went to back up from being parked under the tree... Yup you guessed it, put it in drive instead of reverse and proceeded to make sure both bumpers matched each other. I'm 26 and shes 31 now. She lives in Birmingham and with the way she still drives, Im surprised she hasn't barrell rolled it down the 459 bypass yet lol
  19. Getting fired and then getting another job 5 minutes later and receiving beer during the application process? Damn, wish all application days were like that :P
  20. I'm a lurker ho. Rarely do I post it seems. Gotta run it in stealth mode
  21. My old 91 S-10 that I sold back in 02 had a 2.8 in it and it ran like a dream! 265,000 + on it when I sold it. Saw it the other day running around town and its still lookin strong B)
  22. Holy cow!! Thats a damned long way to run! Congrats to him.
  23. Its a nice car. But 427k for it? Nah I say. There have been plenty of tube chassis 1st gens with big block power with similar looks and built with original 69, 68, and 67 Sheetmetal that people have built that would perform equally as well if not better. Askin price a bit too steep IMHO.
  24. Nope not worried. I havnt had the regular flu since I was 3, and Im 26 now. I rarely get sick as well. Not worried about it all. Much like SARS I think this thing has been blown a little outta proportion.
  25. I've got the 4.3 in my 03 S-10 and its a great engine. Nothing crude about it IMHO. Its got good torque, and decent HP to move me if I need it to. I'd rather have a 4.3 V6 in a truck any day over any Inline 5 or 6 soley based on torque alone. Or I'd rather have a pushrod V6 period in a truck with decent power and good torque I want my pulling power down low. I dont want to have to rev the piss outta an engine just to get some decent pulling. With that being said, I'd rather have a V8 above them all :D
